Finished S2 of Upload, not as good as 1, seems to be trying to be a bit more serious in this season.
Andy Allo is hawt.
Robbie Amel looks so much like David Boreanaz.
I'd agree with this assessment. I preferred the lighter S1. Got a bit woke and serious. Still worth it though.

Just read a review of Slow Horses (obviously a journo given an early viewing)
Review was very positive. The writer didn't come across as someone invested in the novels so this seems to indicate that as a standalone it works.
released Friday with two eps available.

Need to concentrate on the flashbacks and guess who the character is supposed to be as @MN5 points out, it can be hard to connect the younger characters to the older selves
FFS....not sure if you have made episode 7 yet, but now we get the treat of an older version looking not only different, but younger than the young version! And yet again, different voice and accent. Same hair though, that'll do eh.
The rest of it is bloody well done, but geez this young/old mix is the strangest thing.

Just finished Ep 6 and really enjoying it and like the way it throws things in and you need to park parks them until an explanation further along. Can understand how that might be frustrating though.
Haven't noticed the different younger versions too much yet as I now know how to recognise Younger Jane - by her hair....

Young Jane looks nicer than old Toni

@crucial Apparently the theme song - co-written and sung by Jagger is very good too....
Great source material, apparently good writer (Will Smith), excellent (on paper) cast. Couldn't give a shit about a theme song although the mood music will play an important part.
Really it's all down to whether Oldman can nail Jackson Lamb
My anticipation is palpable

Fucken stupid.Absolutely loved it! How good!
And who knew that John Cena can play the piano. Yes, it was him playing "Home Sweet Home".
I can't think of another intro I've ever continually watched and listened to, let alone looked forward to and not skipped immediately. I feel like that was probably his idea also.

The intro was brilliant. As you say, never skipped, yet the same every time.
Not sure if it was his idea but I have read about some of the scenes being him just running with the gag and ad-libbing.

Gunn has a dance number in everything he has done and wanted to do the same

Vikings was great at first but went downhill IMO. Jumped the shark with the battle for York with hiding in non existent sewers and the Saxon army having uniform armour from 200 years in the future. Add in a disjointed non-sensical storyline and I lost interest. Vikings Valhalla just carries on from there.
I do like this pedantry. Don't watch The Last Kingdom as they too have sewers in York.

Aelswith looked the same age the entire way through, and only in the last few episodes did they have a crack at giving her a few gray hairs.
This was especially weird as they didn't do it for the earlier episodes, in the same series, that were only supposed to be a few days or weeks earlier.

Covid related supply chain issues meant she had just run out of hair dye to hide her grey

It’s ok, I shut my eyes during that bit.
