Zombieland and Zombieland: double tap
I watched Double Tap earlier in the week. Not as good as the original but fun.
The actress who played Madison is hawt although she looks much better as a brunette. Her mother is Lea Thompson.
Forgot about Rosario Dawson, who looked hawt as well

The Batman
Aside from being fucking long, I liked it.
Not great, but just good.
I thought Pattinson was better than I expected, but then he was largely Batman rather than Bruce Wayne, which didnt detract from him not being a physically imposing person.
Also NIrvana's Something in the Way seems to have struck a chord with a new generation too.
3.5 didnt even realise that was Colin Farrell out of 5 Zoe Kravits is Hawt!

The Harder they fall Netflix
Produced by JayZ, this Western is quite stylised but gritty, has a great soundtrack and once it kicks off the action is excellent. Some strong acting from a star studded cast including Delroy Lindo and Idris Elba. 4 marshal's badges out of 5 vengeful cowboys

Directed by Seal's brother.
I have it in my watch list but the length always puts me off, I try to watch only 90-100 min movies at home.
Will have to try make a better effort to watch it soon.

They tried to be quite cinematic, and I thought they did pretty well. It is long but I felt it paced well. Definitely worth a watch, a black dominated take on life in the wild west

Death in Brunswick is on Prime. I’d forgotten how brilliant it is. John Clarke was a genius.
He sure was. I watched Dagg Day Afternoon a while back. Classic

Familiar tale, with a new angle.
Ben Foster is superb. So too Billy Magnussen.
4 Rocky's out of 5 Hard Places

The Package Netflix
Spring Break gone wrong. It's juvenile, it's cheap, but it was full of laughs that kept me belly laughing the whole time. Its in the spirit of american pie, and it definitely resonated with my inner teenager. 3.5 severed dicks out of 5 snake bites

Watched Coda last night. Was well done, not too preachy. Fisherman dad was very funny.

Unless the Coda digitally inserts Duvall then I doubt it will make much difference. Don't think I'm up to rewatching 3 again when I can just rewatch The Godfather again.

@Nepia true, but Mrs BayImports and i are going to rewatch the entire series, but instead of three watch the remastered version, so yes re watching the original is definitely part of the deal

Polar
Mads Mikkleson plays a retiring assassin who gets betrayed causing to launch into a John Wick style mission. Mads was fucken great. Dark, brooding, super violent. There was some serious action in this film, a oddly cast Matt Lucas as the main bad guy who actually seemed to work. Mads has a couple intense sex scenes, one with a hot Belarusan chick and the other a female henchwoman who looked like Alexandra Daddario with great norks. For that reason it gets a strong 4 banged sindys out of 5 multiday torture sessions

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
Nicholas Cage stars as Nic Cage an actor hired by Pedro Pascal's character to visit him in Spain for his birthday. It's an action/comedy/parody.
This was great fun. Cage and Pascal are really good together and it stays just on the right side of going too far into parody.
I know there's some Kate Beckinsale obsessives on here (skinny horsey middle aged English women seem to be the flavour in this place - see Elizabeth Hurley too ), they'll be interested to know her daughter (with Michael Sheen) plays Cage's daughter in this. Also stars Tiffany Haddish, Neil Patrick Harris and that Irish comedy actress who pops up in lots of US shows/movies (Sharon Horgan according to Wiki).

The Northman.
Not really sure what to make of this. Some really cool scenes, but very arty in terms of its focus on Norse mythology. Just a very different film I guess.
