BTW I wouldn't recommend dealing with large Australian retailer whose name rhymes with Rarvey Rorman.
Probably belongs in GOM.
They're a piece of shit company, and Aussies consumer protection laws are hopeless. I bought a Mac off them, advertised as latest model, but was factory dated three years old. I had no recourse whatsoever despite there being a more recent model. To make things worse it's an actual dud Mac and the fan sounds like a plane taking off (I'm an Apple fan, not an overbearing one - happy for others to do what they like, and this is the only dud I've had from them).

Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 quite plainly states that suppliers and manufacturers guarantee that their description of goods is accurate and if it isn't, the consumer is entitled to a remedy.

You'd think so, yet the ACCC advised their description wasn't inaccurate, which was why I mentioned the consumer protection laws being hopeless.
