This abomination that just popped up on my YouTube feed goes straight in
Well I’m not fucking listening to that.
A good sign of things to come when Sean Penn describes him as a good friend who is "going to gift us once again".

This meme lists a fair few mentioned songs. Seems they have something in common
The only really good song there is “We won’t get fooled again”
Led Zep at their absolute best.
Who?

Just imagine what's coming next between autotune, auto-everything and AI... stumbled on this good GOM-type monologue from Rick Beato last night, inspired by Billy Corgan, that seems like it should be right at home on a TSF music thread:
'People don't notice when something has been digitally altered'
[Still trying not to fall into @Tim's trap of thinking about songs I don't like and getting them stuck in my head all day... ]

Great thread!
Will build and update this post but number one is easy
Wagon wheel - by dunno who but really don’t care
There are probably 9 Coldplay or U2 songs to follow but will think about it a bit more
Old Crow Medicine Show.
They co wrote it from some old Bob Dylan song, I thought it was released in the 70s but it’s much more recent, 2001 in fact…..it’s been covered numerous times.
I’m not sure why I’m writing any of this as it is a god awful song that every slack jawed inbred fuck thinks is hilarious to request to long suffering pub bands. Hilarious. Chortle chortle.
It is one of THE most appropriate songs for this thread I have seen.

Yes but now you know more about what you don’t care about

Careful. He's going to tell you he doesn't care about it. Again.
Methinks he doth protest too much.

- Imagine - John Lennon
- Waltzing Matilda
- Blowin' In The Wind - Bob Dylan
- Whiter Shade of Pale - Pocol Harum
- Do They Know it's Christmas? Band Aid
- Meat Is Murder - The Smiths.
- The Sidewinder sleeps tonite, REM
- Walk on the Wild Side, Lou Read
- Never Forget, Take That.
- I would walk 500 miles - The Proclaimers.
It was quite hard to limit myself to only 10.

Not a bad (good?) list. I’d quibble with Imagine but I do realise it polarises people.
Walk on the Wild Side though, get away, a stone cold classic.

Is Lou Read a friend of Keeran Reed?

This thread combined with all the other music threads has me convinced a lot of you guys just don't like melodies. Neanderthals.
