A little bit off topic but the squad was in force at the dawn service here in Lower Hutt. I thought that was very classy.
Good to hear them getting out and about in our community

If they show up this week, I’ll be interested to see if the chirping from the Canes fans continues - win this and I think they are just on target for 8th place.
The Crusaders have a run of home games to finish. As I said previously, they have been much better playing at home. A last minute loss to the Hurricanes and the win over the Chiefs. Winning on the road is the problem.

@NTA probably, hes a good guy...but typical in that hes been at the club for a few years...but when i suggested checking with some of the people on the committee...he didn't know them....on sat when someone asked him for water bottles...he hadn't thought about getting any....he just rocked up and played 1s and someone else arranged the bbq that paid for things and someone else filled the water bottle he expected to be there and someone else washed his jersey each week etc
he'll come right, hes just having a wake up call

It say Ennor is due back midyear, wonder if he could make a surprise return, what about Will Jordan?
Jordan is still in a sling so no SR.
Ennor will not play SR. -

Herbert said Rugby Australia was concerned about New Zealand and South Africa formulating a plan for old-fashioned tours in 2026 and 2031, which would lead to an eight- or nine-game tour being played during the Rugby Championship window.
It would mean a truncated Rugby Championship for the Wallabies and Argentina, which would mean a reduction in the much-relied upon Test revenue. Herbert said Australia would be looking for compensation if it was to approve.
Do SANZAAR decisions need to be unanimous?
god forbid they do something proactive like looking too arrange other touring parties....straight to just pay us compensation

He hit me up last night about getting reimbursed for washing the jerseys...$12
Is he an accountant?

one of our first grade picked up a head knock in preseason and given we've got good depth this year hes decided to knock it on the head (pun intended)...is keen to still be involved so have lined him up as 2nd grade manager. He hit me up last night about getting reimbursed for washing the jerseys...$12...dude i have seen you buy rounds of $16 pints before...almost gave him $12 just to avoid working out how to get him his money

If the forwards show up, the Evil empire should do this easily. Blackadder and Grace in their best positions, and Lio-Willie is class.
I still think they should switch just run a kick/chase forward oriented game but I guess recently they just haven’t been accurate or disciplined enough to even do that.
If they show up this week, I’ll be interested to see if the chirping from the Canes fans continues - win this and I think they are just on target for 8th place.
Now that he’s on the blindside will that make him more inclined to actually run back and defend ?

Not sure if they do, but not sure SANZAAR could stop teams doing tours etc.
It's actually interesting article about Herberts ideas, not saying I agree witrh them, but he rightly talking about what he thinks is good for Aus rugby, which is as he should. Also is honest in hiw assesment that Aus rugby isn't really an attractive marketing package at moment, so there is more money probably to be made with matches apart from them?
