Wellington are playing Auckalnd at Mt Maunganui at the moment. This appears to be a 'home' game for Wellington.

Any reason this has worked out like this?

@Hooroo probably a combination of Steve Hansen and NZR conspiracy.

              That's quite cool.

              I wonder if many attended?

It's New Zealand domestic cricket. In October.

I think that question answers itself Hooroo.

As this thread was so popular it seems pointless starting a new one. 🙂

Anyway, the sunny climate of the BOP seems to be an attraction for some NZ cricketers. ND B usually competes in the Plunket Shield.

The Northern Districts pair of Brett Hampton and Joe Carter scored what's believed to be a world record 43 runs off an over in Hamilton on Wednesday.

Ludick bowled some good deliveries in the over too.

I don't know what impresses me more, the 43 or that this thread is two years old with only 7 posts was found and added to!

@hooroo I had to do a search for my previous post, nearly 2 years after the last post in the thread. 🙂
