Wasp 286 prediction hit with 6 overs to go and 6 wickets in hand ....
I guess we are due for a collapse ...
WASP now adjusted to 341

Maybe it's not so bad.
Bangladesh came back well in the last few overs but weren't consistent enough.

341/7, thanks to an excellent partnership between Latham (137) and Munro (87.) Kane chipped in with 30-odd. Everyone else was pretty rubbish with the bat. We were lucky Latham got dropped a few times, cos that scorecard would have looked pretty sick without his contribution.
Now let's see some fiery bowling and sharp fielding.

Is anyone else worried by Kane's wee form slump? Maybe I am being too harsh but it seems he is not scoring as much since he took on the captaincy.

I'm more worried that Munro is performing well enough against the bangas to keep his spot for another 2 years

I can remember thinking exactly the same thing about Rosscoe when he first started. He's turned out OK.

I thought Taylor was hyped up a lot when he made the team?

He was a dirty slogger back then

Taylor was good i thought, he just loved the slog sweep lol.. It was his go to shot, so i guess thats why people thought he was a slogger..
He got out playing a lot of stupid shots back then. He has cut that out of his game now. I think his technique actually used to be better. He plays less dumb shots now but his technique has deteriorated a little which makes him a slightly better batsman overall.

Is McMillan our bowling coach as well - what is it with all the bouncers our quicks were bowling?

No, but Andrew Alderson read your post and decided to answer in the Herald.
"As a captain in eight tests, Williamson's average is 50.91 compared to 49.23 beforehand. He has led in 28 of his 102 ODIs for an average of 48.38 contrasted against 45.13 in his 74 other matches. In T20Is his average is 36.33 in 17 games as skipper versus 32.46 in the 18 contests he wasn't."
This is QI. The guys ahead of him weren't too bad...and he beat a few gooduns too.
"Williamson became the fastest New Zealander to 4000 ODI runs. He completed the achievement in 96 innings, beating Martin Guptill's mark of 112. Williamson was the fourth fastest in history behind Hashim Amla (81), Sir Viv Richards (88) and Virat Kohli (93). He was equal with Gordon Greenidge and in front of Brian Lara (100), Dean Jones (102), Sourav Ganguly and AB de Villiers (105)."
