Finally got around to watching John Wick, fuck what a cool fucken movie.
Its like watching your mate playing a first person shooter online and just killing it, popping Ruskies with ease.
5 head shots out of 5 mooks wrapped in plastic by the cleaning teamI just watched recently too. Awesome flick.
I also watched The Accountant and tha was fantastic. Thought it would be hopeless but throughly enjoyed it.
There is a Stephen King one out on Sky Box Office soon where it has a Gun Slinger and Matt McCaunaghey (SP) as the baddie. Looks good on preview but has anyone seen it?

@Hooroo @Virgil you guys know John Wick 2 came out last year right?
Yup mate that’s next on the viewing list
Considering how long it took me to see John Wick it should only be 2021 when I see chapter 2 -
Bladerunner 2049
I liked the original, not as big of a fan as some on here I expect.
But I quite liked the reboot, aside from being about 30mins too long, moved along at a steady pace, not the rapid break neck speed that some movies like to drag you along at, but also always something going on.
Ana de Armas and Sylvia Hoeks are both nice to look at

The Florida Project.
Holy shit, this is not the feel good movie of 2018. Basically a look inside the lives of Ferals living in a seedy motel near Disneyland, most of the cast apart from Willem Dafoe are no names but there’s some incredible acting performances in it.

@virgil 3 should be out by then.
Ha caught John Wick : Chapter 2 earlier than planned.. last night
Great watch, up there with the first chapter. Enjoyed how it went deeper into the world Wick had tried unsuccessfully to escape.
Great to see his new dog made it through this one, though the Mustang wasnt as lucky..4.5 dead wops out of 5 dead angry aussie lesbo MTV stars.

4 jack black as a teenage girls out of 5 awkward Rock pashes
Agree. The Doctor Who chick is also tidy as fuck.
The opening teenage glib dialogue was shitting me a little. Once the adult actors came in it started to rock.

The Bad Batch, Suki Waterhouse, Keanu Reeves, Jason Momoa, Giovanni Ribisi
Suki Waterhouse is tidy, but even then...dont bother unless you have 2 hours spare to donate to the time goblins
2 smiley faces out of 5 cannibals
Bright - saw review above, so went in with low expectations, I thought it was ok, bit silly and a bit OTT in places, but was a better watch than the above movie

El Camino Christmas
A guy heads to el Camino in search of a father he has never known, but catches the eye of some dodgy sheriffs (Vincent D'onofrio) after which chaos ensues.
Also stars Tim Allen, Red from that 70s show, Jessica Alba Along with a couple other recognisable faces.

So true, caught this movie on Sky thought it was tedious apart from the car chase. Easy rider is another one with cult status I watched and still don’t see what the fuss was about.
I'd have to put Deer Hunter in a similar bracket. Some incredibly powerful scenes but parts of it dragged on like no one's business.
