I love that film and don't love that certain period of Hollywood.
I'm a fan of up his arse QT though.
Shoehorning Zoe Bell into every movie is beyond cringeworthy though, what the fuck is up with his fascination with her ?

TBH, she's never a problem for me and clearly QT just likes her.

@nepia yeah ditto, I don't see what the problem is? Some people just like to get offended eh...
Watched Villains. Couple on a car journey crime spree end up trying to burgle the wrong house. Prolly could have been much better than it was, but was a decent enough watch for most of it. Feel like they phoned the ending in though as ran out of ideas.
2.5 Kyra Sedgwick out of 5 is budget Julia Roberts.

@mariner4life It's the first Tarantino movie I've enjoyed since Jackie Brown. I've watched it three times already, and I generally hate everything new.

I felt there was a good 30mins that were unnecessary but the good bits were brilliant.
Also Jackie Brown is vastly underrated.

I rate it pretty highly

I Care a Lot, starring Rosamund Pike and Tyrion Lannister
I really enjoyed this - original plot, and well acted. Pike makes you properly squeamish at how cold she is.
Lots of silly moments as well, but overall good fun.

Right, so, ... Tenet...
I didn't find it as confusing and un-understandable as I'd expected from reviews,
but... yeah, there was heaps of times I thought "nah, that's not how that would work"...
I'm really hoping that it's a case like Primer - where it doesn't make sense on the first watch, but makes more and more sense on each watch, but... not sure.
A lot of it at the back-end seemed like a big excuse for showing 'xplosions-in-reverseI do kinda like Nolan's production/direction style (the lighting or lack-of) of it just looking like real life. The very first scene reminded me of one of the Batman movies... no dark-ish atmospheric bullshit, just... this is how the lighting is in an opera house, or outside, or on a boat, or whatever.

Watched it a couple of weeks ago. Still can't figure out if I liked it, or was so confused I was unable to make up my mind

Dark Waters
Geez, pretty out there and rather depressing. Based on a true story and starring Mark Ruffalo, Anne Hathaway, Tim Robbins, Bill Pullman. How did I know fuck all about this?
A tenacious attorney uncovers a dark secret that connects a growing number of unexplained deaths to one of the world's largest corporations. While trying to expose the truth, he soon finds himself risking his future, his family and his own life.

@kirwan do we really need another zombie film? I know I'll watch though.
Has anyone even finished The Walking Dead series, and should I? I stopped at 7 I think.Look at this for a trailer, we are soooo excited for Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon

If it is done properly, always yes

Not I, there is a thread on here dedicated to TWD, think all bar @shark bailed on TWD several seasons ago.
