Back for more!

  • This face is good for something, but it ain't "viewing"

  • Decided against a run this morning as I actually slept quite well and couldn't be arsed getting out of bed at 6.

Instead jogged out 5km this evening in 31:45. Gotta say I struggled with that last couple of klicks, but it's over now.

  • @nta how are you feeling after Pilates?

    Sitting perhaps?

It's about 24 hours later when the DOMS usually hits, and the core is aching, so good result.

Well, my wife isn't the type to kiss and tell. 😳

If you do it consistently you'll notice benefits in other exercises, guaranteed, that in particular is what I really like. I remark to the other half that some of her clients don't look in amazing shape but a lot of this is cos they do one or two sessions a week and nothing else which in itself isn't enough.

  • @mn5 going to start with Tuesdays then spend some of my own time repeating the main exercises to keep it going.

Good thinking. Always good to have someone check your form though:-)

  • @mn5 rather inconveniently, I lack a close personal acquaintance who is an instructor 🤔

It has some benefits I guess

  • 5.15km in 33:11 today but ZERO vision problems, so that's good.

  • And I also jumped on the scales real quick. Tomorrow could be something good.

  • 5km in just under 32 minutes. Minimal vision issues when I started to lose my rhythm, forcing me to pump a little harder to get it back. But I think I have the gist of this thing now.

Last night while hanging the washing I did one slow, perfect-form chinup at the end of each line for 7 in total

    Today: 99.4kg - Chest 116 - Waist 109 - Hips 111.

    Today: 98.7kg - Chest 115 - Waist 108 - Hips 111

Considering I had a solid meal at the pub last night as well as a Scotch & dry, that's a fairly big win.

Going half a kilo/week from here would get me to 94.5kg by 1st September.

At that point, maybe the doc can go get stuffed 😉

I'm doing a food thing where I only eat between 12-8pm with the very odd exception. Works fucken wonders I reckon.

  • Can't do that. Love breakfast too much.

    Iggs, butch.

I just have em at lunch instead and make sure I have copious amounts of black coffee in the lead up. During the week I generally eat cos I need to, the weekend is generally full mortal combat with as much bacon, egg and sausage as I can manage.

*real sausage, not bloke sausage #nohomo

  • 5km in 32:30

Fucking cold here: -3.6C is hardly ideal running but I suppose it's better than 20C+

That is gaining some serious traction. What benefits do you reckon you're getting?

Not sure if I could do that. I'd go nuts without breakfast.
