  • Surprised to see in that last run that Guildford was a bit faster than Reece (and the Manawatu player). Zac certainly hasn't lost a lot of pace, yet.



  • Messy game, btw. High error rate. Manawatu looking the stronger side.



  • Half time: Waikato 5 - 3 Manawatu. The only try was scored by Pita Ahki.



  • Try Waikato. Samisoni Taukei’aho over after a line-out maul. Guildford off injured (hamstring).

    Waikato now lead 10-3.



  • After converted tries to Jamie Booth and Harrison Brewer, as well as 2 penalty goals, Manawatu finishes on top at full time: 23-10. Very uninspiring match, esp from Waikato.
