Serialized remake of 'The Princess Bride' told in short chapters featuring celebrities at home during quarantine.
Who’s gonna play Andre or come remotely close to drinking like him ?
-
@taniwharugby I thought I'd posted a bit of it somewhere but maybe not....it was...interesting. Not exactly enthralling though.

Weird, having an IMDB page makes it seem like it's an actual show rather than just one of those Covid things.

Finished watching The War of the Worlds (the one with Gabriel Byrne). Great start but then became a bit slow before picking up in the last few episodes. Looking forward to Season 2.
Watching Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. Best described as a mix of LA Confidential and any Indiana Jones film. Bloody good and one of the best things I've watched for ages.
-
Just finished season 1 of Brave New World
Excellent
-
Season 3 of The Chi is the best yet
-
@Victor-Meldrew I watched and enjoyed Penny Dreadful with Eva Greene, so was looking forward to this one, bailed after 3 eps, just couldn't get into it.
-
Late to the party, my timing tends to suck with most things, but have finally given What We Do in The Shadows a go...fuck me thats the funniest show ive watched in years. Coming to the end of Season 1 then onto Season 2.
Only complaint so far is the character Gregor/Jeff/Geoff..why do they have to put down the name Jeff/Geoff..the lame ejaculation comparison drew way too much of a laugh from my wife...wasnt happy about that...brilliant apart from that..
yeah in case anyone didnt know but my real name is Geoff....

Excellent show that even if she looked a bit rough at times and kept the tits covered up. Timothy Dalton was brilliant.

after how S1 of Hannah went, I was reluctant to start S2, but did, and TBH, I quite liked it.
Less of the teen love story line (I know the main characters are teen girls) and a bit more of the expected action.

bet Ricky Gervais is gutted he didnt get a nod for Afterlife....
@MiketheSnow mentioned Brave New World, I had this on my list to have a look at....interesting first epsiode!
Lotsa eye candy, some boobs.
Also watched a few eps of Hightown, plenty of girl on girl action, one of the main filming locations is a strip club too., nothing special, but will keep watching....

It is criminal that the Good Place gets nominated ahead of it

Tom Pelphrey should have been nominated as a supporting actor for his performance in Ozark.
In a show full of unlikable fuckwits he stood out that's for sure.
This is not a compliment, I found his character about as pleasant as having my teeth pulled.
