Was very strange seeing France play indoors in the new arena. One end of the pitch has a massive 50m wide screen on it which was either totally black or had the score on it in 20m high letters.

Anyway Japan looked very slick and if they had their kicking boots would have won comfortably.

France are a shambles. Noves has used something like 73 players since he took over as coach. How they can possibly succeed like that is a mystery. France need a foreign coach as there is no one currently coaching here who seems up to the standard of taking the players they have and molding them into a team with a style of play they can all buy into.
