Usually the Australia Day Lamb ads are fairly laid back, funny, and good at taking the piss. Last year, they had the "Operation Boomerang" to bring back Aussies from overseas. Of course, when they poked fun at vegans, that caused some pissy outrage from that set
This year they've gone a bit more... well kind of political. I like it actually. Its got the same laid-back approach as the others, but is a bit more introspective with the nation that was and where its going.

@NTA of course i've already read on offended article. They hate the Aus Day ad anyway, as it equats buysing stuff with loving your country.
But they hate this one because it has too many stereotypes. And the food served to the indigenous folk should have been laced with smallpox, you know, so as not to whitewash history. People really are fucking tedious bores aren't they?

Oh yeah. Saw some redneck FB all "IT DOESN'T EVEN MENTION STRAYA DAY MAYYYYYYTE! FUCKEN LAMB IS ALL HALAL MAYYYYYYTE! FUCKEN MUSLIM PLOT MAYYYYYYYYYYYYTE!"
It's not from the Australia Day Council you silly shunts. Lamb can advertise to whom they please.
Or the endless "I as born here, I'm not a boat person" whining. Humourless morons hopelessly missing the point.

the best idea i have ever read
I would have to delicately balance my time between this and wanking about on the Fern.
Actually, that sounds stressful

Bit of a heatwave going on at the moment. Western Sydney is on course for 43C but so far it feels pretty mild (only 27C at 10AM)
Gah! Fuck! Wind shifted around and a heat bomb got dropped about midday...
