Brumbies v Crusaders

Just back from the game. Not one for the purists, the second half was dreadful. Only made bearable by the keystone cops Brumbies. Can't score against 13 on their 5m line, you deserve to lose.

Jordan Taufua had a massive game tonight. He has been consistently good all season. Shame he won't get capped; only because he lacks a few centimetres in height. He should get a hair style like Ardie's.
And what about Crockett. That's the second game he had to come off the bench very early in the first half and play over 70 minutes. Still got a good engine! If Perry is out again; Hanse should really ask Crockett to reconsider his retirement.
Although Crotty went down a few times, he survived 80 minutes. Again! He's a tougher bugger than you'd think!
Oh, and I really hope Mo'unga comes out firing if/when he returns next week. He hasn't played since round 2, so it wouldn't be fair to expect a perfect game, but we need him to get back to his old self quickly for the ABs' sake.
I don't think they'll call up Mataele for the Steinlager Series or Rugby Championship, but I hope they'll consider him for the EOYT if he continues to play like he's done all SR season. I think he's better than Lam, who's quite one-dimensional, and also still has a lot of developing to do at the age of 21; Mataele can only get better!

@stargazer It's the response of a coach and captain that sets the culture: Accepting that they deserved the YCs, that they need to go back and look at why to change their own behaviours that help create their dynasty - no one else is responsible for their outcomes.

"The player has received two previous periods of suspension for similar incidents in the preceding 12 months, and the foul play review committee added a further week to the sanction for that aggravating factor."
