Joint pain in the elbow
-
.....so the weights and everything are going well except I have a rather sharp pain in my left ( stronger ) elbow. After a few warm ups I can go into deadlifts and chins pretty fine and theres been no loss of strength but first thing in the morning even picking up one of my boys sometimes results in a brief sharp pain there which after a bit of movement seems to go away. Does anyone think a bit of deep heat will get rid of this ? perhaps I should lay off the weights for a bit ? any advice is gratefully recieved as always !

no idea, but age? the inside of both of my elbows in the morning is sore, like a muscle sore until stretched and warm - just by use. I blame all my aches and pains on age!

Could well be, I'm rapidly entering my "mid thirties" as my wife keeps informing me:(<br />

Just weird that its only in my left, supposedly stronger, elbow. Must be all the darts I play ! -

....but the actual sharp pains are definitely subsiding. Lets see how the benching goes today ! -
hah - tennis elbow (I supose) big time in my right for the last few weeks. Getting better now, but a pain in the elbow - especially now that my left shoulder is as good as gold!
