CM need to find a good performance for this one. Effectively they are battling Welly for a place in the semis.
Cant, Tasman and Auckland look to have 3 spots sewn up.
Considering the freshness of our 9 and 10 this year I should be happy if we just stay up but a top 4 spot would be awesome. -
Terrible TMO decision with player miles offside before scoring.
Aumua hits back straight away, though.
-
@stargazer yep, what a shocker of call. Did the tmo think the centre had put him on side?
-
@stargazer That call was just straight incompetence.
-
Some hidings being dished out this week...
-
Missed the game because I was playing in a Prezzie Tournament. Looks like I didn't miss much.

Counties joining Taranaki in the relegation dogfight. Not an easy run in with Tasman, Canterbury, Harbour and Northland to play - but, a bit easier than Taranaki's run home!
Harbour has a bit more breathing space in that they've not dropped any crossover matches and have four very winnable matches in their final five. They'll be pretty keen to turn that potential breathing space into tangible points vs BoP tomorrow.
-
From the highlights, both counties tries were dodgy with a man in front of the kicker. Pretty poor observance of the laws

Certainly looks like we don’t deserve to be in the same room as the big guys on that result.
Oh well, relegation fight it is then. -
Just seen the highlights, what on earth was the TMO playing at? Who was it?
I'll keep an eye on his astonishing rise to reffing a WC quarter next year.
-
@bones Unfortunately, the Mitre 10 Cup website only gives the name of the ref, not of the ARs and TMO.

Agree. Both Counties tries. And not even marginal
-
The first CM try shouldn't have been, both inside chasers were in front of the kicker and advanced and had a direct impact on the play. The second try I can live with, not clear and obvious live that the chaser is in front.
