Medich/McGurk Sydney property murder:
Amusing to see our old mate Roger Rogerson make a cameo appearance.

Last December, a Canadian pharmaceuticals executive and his wife were strangled in their home. No one knows who did it or why, but everyone has a theory.

Thats a weird one , surprised it hasn't been made into a doco by netflix or amazon yet.

@jegga There's been a few suggestions that it was a murder/suicide by the husband, and the "mystery" is due to the children trying to protect his name.

@jegga Thanks for the link. That one's always caught my attention.

There's a lot of red herrings in that one . I didn't think it was as long ago as five years though.

@tim reminds me of the lake Oconee murders.

You might like the podcast Sworn, an offshoot of Up and Vanished.

This could just be my new favourite thread

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the Steve Avery and Brendan Dassey case?

-
@jegga have got it in my subscribed, haven't got around to it yet though. Worth it then?
Sworn is an offshoot of Up and Vanished.
-
@bones finished it today, really enjoyed it
-
@bones have you listened to the wonderland murders?
-
@jegga cool I'll give it a bash.
I've mentioned it on podcasts before, but True Crime Garage is a good one if you like this kinda stuff. One of the hosts is a supreme knobend but once you get used to him he can be quite funny at times. These guys do it really well I reckon, most easy to listen to out of all the ones that don't focus on just one case.
-
@jegga Tried, but gave up after a couple of episodes, didn't grab me at all and lost me completely jumping all over the show.
