Jack Dorsey on Rogan
-
Big development, Rogan currently has on Twitters CEO Jack Dorsey, a senior in Twitters policy team Vijaya Gadda and also Tim Pool. Some great discussion, Tim is smashing it and the Twitterati are actually doing a good job in showing their point of view and the reasoning behind their decisions. They aren't philosophers and they do exist in a bubble reliant on messages without context and news articles produced by activists. (They actually thought Proud Boys was an FBI designated terrorist organisation)
I really didn't think this chat would happen, big respect for Dorsey and this chat could very well make a difference on the platform.
-
That was great, I can't see anyone from google or facebook fronting up and explaining why they do the things they do. Great to see from Dorsey and even better Tim Pool was there to actually point out some of the ways they fucked up.
Also I could be mistaken but that might be the first Rogan podcast where he doesn't mention chimps.

Yeah that’s a good one for Rogan bingo .
He seems to have figured out that no one gives a shit that William Randolph Hearst made hemp illegal though, haven’t had that one for a while .

Tim's channels have got to explode in subscribers after the last couple weeks. I can't think of a single journalist who I trust anywhere near the level as I do with Pool. He blabbers on a bit too much sometimes but he goes to efforts to remain impartial and has no issue calling out both sides of the political spectrum.
I reckon that van of his will be fully pimped out in no time!
-
@Rembrandt I get the impression he’s been killing time till the van is done . He’s too recognisable now so he has to have other people on the ground .
Nice timing for Facebook

This is an absolute must-see/listen if you've followed the Rogan interview.
Tim goes into the behind-the-scenes of the interview, how it came about, his genuine thoughts on Dorsey (Reckons he is a decent guy but he's being advised terribly)

That was one of the better Rubin podcasts.
