Critics are clutching their pearls!
Rotten tomatoes is dogshit , it’s interesting that when Amy Schumer special got rated terribly they claimed it was 4chan trolls causing it . That may be true but the same sort of thing could equally be true of this rating .
Speaking of Schumer the brief period where she was funny was when Anthony Jeselnik was writing her jokes . Now her career is deservedly in the toilet along with Sarah Silvermans .

@jegga
I clicked through to one of the negative reviews of Chappelle's latest - the "woke" site called Slate and
then I read the comments. The top rated comments are getting stuck into the reviewer for having no sense of humor. So even with liberal/lefitsit readers, this SJW bullshit is getting a bit long in the tooth. -

Reading Slate is like having a conversation with your niece at Christmas after her first semester of college.

Jussie’s lawyers are still trying to convince us that he’s the real victim. This might be the first time I’ve ever heard somebody call the cops accusing somebody (Trump supporters, no less) that they were a victim of a racist homophobic attack and then had lawyers complain that the cops investigated the assault too thoroughly.
Jussie Smollett lawyers: Even if actor faked attack, it was cops’ call to investigate it so vigorously
SNEED EXCLUSIVE: The ex-”Empire’’ actor’s latest court filing, while not admitting he staged the incident, pins the decision to spend so much time and resources investigating squarely on law enforcement.
[...]
[T]he latest court filing contends even if Smollett did make a false report, there is no way the city can assert he would have known the city would investigate — and investigate it to the extent cops did.
“We contend the city is wrong,” Quinlan said of the city’s assertion that Smollett should have known the police would log nearly 2,000 hours in overtime trying to resolve the case. “ ... The mere fact somebody filed a police report doesn’t presume the investigation will be done and certainly not to the extent of what the city is claiming.”

Links wrong . That’s obviously from the Onion

This just gets better and better. How much $$ do we think his lawyers are getting to advance this madness!

They are a credit to their profession, maintaining a straight face while presenting a pathetic case like that can’t be easy

Well I'm sure as an extremely preachy young gay highly paid actor there will be nothing humiliating or illegal to come out here.
-
@Rembrandt i wonder what happens if evidence uncovers naughty actions of others that are unrelated to the case? Given his evident stupidity I can't imagine him being overly discreet about things!

All your data?
As much as I want to see Juicy scapegoated as a message, is this a one of those times where the principle of privacy outweighs the schadenfruede?
Having the law pore through your life seems a bit over the top, whatever the charge.
We've all accepted our online life can be seen by others and there is no genuine privacy but have we seen the potential real life repercussions of all our stored data, and in this case, at the whim of a judge.
Stinks a bit, to me. He lied and carried on like a pork chop - convict him on that.
