@Catogrande Personally I believe it's more of a narrative thing. It's not all outlets, just the more heavily left leaning ones which include state media. The guy is probably a nutcase just yelling that stuff because he is a nutcase not because he is religious but it really bothers me that journalist's have zero interest in telling the truth and that will only feed paranoia from one side and ignorance from the other.
Now as for the budget smuggler thing, that I simply don't understand.

Then it probably would have been the fault of the "ideology" of everyone to the right of the greens. And Donald Trump of course. And probably Tony Abbott.

That’s if he actually escaped from a mental health facility or if it’s a good deflection to get out there that you can correct later .
