Apparently it fleshes out the Jedi that we only catch glimpses of in the movies quite a bit ?
It's pretty shameful that a bloke who at last count owns six star wars T shirts hasn't found time ( especially now ) to watch this.
Not sure why your even here to be honest, other then to remind us every 5 mins how much you loved The Last Jedi..
*you’re
That was for @Bones
Your ruining the joke.

Watching Rebels right now then onto Clone Wars
Very under rated series too, takes a while to get into it but well worth sticking with. Bridges (mind the pun) the clone wars to the OT perfectly as well. Full of familiar faces from the prequel/clone era and those we see in the OT movies
Yeah. I watched S1 ages ago but stopped because CF Jnr was too scared of the Inquisitor. Almost at the end of S2 now, lots of familiar faces
There’s plenty of moments in both Rebels and CW that makes you question if it’s a kids series, some pretty dark moments. Decapitations, some of the Maul arcs are very dark.

Good old Maul, a fan favourite that I bet Lucas regrets "killing".
didn't matter though, Obi Wan got him in the end.

So is Rise being released on Disney Plus? I haven't done a second watch (didn't rewatch it in the cinema like the other two from the latest trilogy) so will give it the second watch and hope it improves (for me). It's only just sitting above the prequels for me in my rankings at the moment.

Rise was a rollicking good flick and an astonishing improvement based on what came directly before it.

I disagree, and I didn't hate Rise at the time.

I thought there was enough nostalgia and amazing set pieces to put it damn near top of the list for me ( excluding the holy trinity of course ). I fucken loved it.

Maybe the rewatch will change my opinion of it, but the fact I didn't bother to go see it again puts it in perspective for me. It's the worst of all the new films to me. I'm not a JJ hater either, I still think TFA was great - actually, what you just said applies to TFA for me.
I like TLJ and liked it even more when I rewatched it before Rise, if it didn't have the gambling planet side trip I'd like it even more.

Introducing the three most irritating, loathsome characters in SW history in a single film was the nail in the coffin for TLJ for me. Not even Jar Jar irked me as much as those three.
It's still Star Wars though so whilst terrible by that yardstick it had some cool scenes in it.

I assume you mean Rose (didn't annoy me at all), Benecio's character (thought he wasn't needed but Del Toro is generally watchable), I don't know who the third is. Oh, Holdo? Yeah, she annoyed me as she should have been Ackbar.
But, none of them come close to Jar Jar, eek I have to stop talking about the prequels as I will just start getting irritable.

I can't believe I'm even vaguely talking him up but Jar Jar was a misguided attempt at comic relief for the kids. It failed, but I can see what Lucas was trying to do.
The Locksmith ? you want your SW bad guys to have cool things like Jepacks, double bladed lightsabres, horns on their heads, four lightsabres at a time etc. He had a nervous tic. Wow, I can really see the toys flying off the shelves and the kids wanting to be like him.
I can't decide which out of the other two were worse, it's not cos they're chicks, Leia, Padme, Rey, Jyn, Cara ( from Mando ) are all awesome characters.
Holdo and Rose were both just horrific. Luckily the former died and the latter was barely in TROS. ( filmmakers listening to the fans just as they did with Jar Jar )

Finished season 1 of the Mandalorian. Most enjoyable
What was great
- They were able to have some nuance about characters being good or evil but it wasn't overcomplicated
- The actors had varying ethnicities but it wasn't made a big deal of, so felt totally natural
- Great action and storytelling

Mando was off the charts. Even better than I expected and I expected a lot.
Even the middle episodes which weren't as good were still great.
Kuill dying is one of the most emotional SW deaths of all time.

the shootout that he and Mando had in the first epsiode was so well done. Ever since we saw that group of Bounty Hunters in Empires Strikes Back for a matter of seconds I always wanted to see them in action. ( nerd alert: yes I know it's a different IG unit )
They've set things up really well for Moff whatshisname from Breaking Bad to be a major antagonist next season but I'd love to see a Jabba the Hutt type Alien as well.

Yeah, it was definitely great to see a bunch of the ESB bounty hunters mixing it up. The baby Yoda getaway scene saw a few familiar faces (not the same characters but same looking as ESB)

All this talk is making me want to watch it again. I'm in two minds whether I really liked the tatooine episode or not, almost like they were trying to fit in TOO MUCH fan service and nostalgia......
