The men were held on suspicion of the public order offence of causing another person harassment, alarm or distress.
So legalese for being insensitive fluffybunnies .
I’m not excusing them but I don’t think they broke the law .

A 6th man aged 19 also arrested.
Sheer bloody insanity. The UK is become a police state for regular citizens and a soft touch for actual criminals.

This is pretty shocking, and really an admission that the UK has an extremist problem that the government does't know what to do about, so ends up continuing to appease instead in an attempt to avoid conflict.
It sounds like she will get asylum in another Western country.

None of those people should be involved in higher education.

Has Britain already been lost?
Asia Bibi not granted asylum for concerns of 'unrest and attacks'...it's almost as if a certain subsection of British society has more allegiance to a particular ideology than to their country of residence and British values. An allegiance that they will defend violently.
It certainly looks like Britain has bent the knee to Islamic extremism.

Have to keep the peace you know. Even if that means having your asylum policies dictated by religious freaks.

Yeah, nah.
Is it still a crime if I spout hate speech in a language other than English?
Physical crimes matter not what culture or ethnicity I am, but what if I abuse you in Thai and you understand nothing of what I say?
I have still perpetrated the same " crime" but you will have no recourse to call the police, and sans a verifiable translation, no crime can be adjudged.
Good god, isn't it all nonsense?

That sort of thing gives a lot of weight to what Tommy Robinson talks about. What an absolute disgrace.

Ah UK policing priorities. In the last couple weeks there have been two very telling videos in regards to this. One had a guy pull a police woman from her car as though she was nothing before taking it over, the 2nd had two police being overcome by 3 youths, one of which did a very effective flying kick to incapacitate the female officer.
I hate to say it but with an out of control crime rate Britain needs more men not less, and by men I mean those that can pass a physical test at a decent level.

Utter madness. Reminds me of what happened at the White House when some nutter hurled the fence, overpowered the female Secret Service agent and actually got to the WH. "Equality" is all fun and games until someone gets badly hurt or worse. Unless these women are physical specimens like the Islandic crossfitters (who are likely on the roids) then a 50% target is idiotic.
