Nice that we can get to see Tupaea at 12 - could be a hint for 2021 Chiefs if we are lucky.

Fletcher Smith is the unlucky player from the original squad. Karpik replaces the injured Prinsep.

@Bovidae So from the squad, Fletcher Smith misses out, with Trask covering 10. Stevenson can cover fullback if Trask has to move to 10, with Lowe covering wing.

They've still used the 2020 Super Rugby teams.

Just noted that Prinsep has Crusaders not Hurricanes. A typo or clue?

@Bovidae Typo. He's still signed with the Canes. The Canes included him in their instagram post of Hurricanes players selected for the MABs.

Bit weird that they haven't named the MP side.

Moana Pasifika have stronger forward reserves, and it will be a good test for the young Maori props.

Hopefully Nanai-Seturo gets time at fullback. I would have started him there myself.

That's a strong team. Hopefully the two devastating wingers see plenty of ball.

Wright is definitely with the team based on the photos from today.

I'm leaning towards MP even though I will be wearing a Maori jersey to the game. I just hope it's an entertaining game and a fitting end to an unusual year of rugby.
