Yet again a welcome to country ceremony during the first people's round looks utterly unrehearsed and diminishes the entire spectacle.
-
@antipodean my issue is why does it start so late? Advertised kickoff was 7.45pm
-
Reds completely drop their nuts when playing in Canberra.
-
@kiwimurph They're coming back into it now.
Shaping up to be a good contest this.
-
After the predictable penalty -> lineout -> maul -> try I turned it off so the wife could watch Devil Wears Prada for the 73rd time.
-
I wonder if Rennie is eyeing up Jock Campbell.
To me he looks the most natural fullback option in Aus.
-
Impressive comeback by the Reds. Scrum well on top.
Only 1 point behind now
-
Every Brumbies player was offside at the kickoff. Not called.
-
Brumbies 13 Ikitau is an absolute gun.
-
Wow what a game. Best game in either comp this year by far.
-
@kiwimurph scoreline looked good, too.
I'm out tonight but will look forward to this tomorrow afternoon.
-
@nta some wonderful tries by both sides.
-
Really enjoyed that game. Think I'm enjoying it more than SRA.
-
-
The awareness to nab that final try after the fluffybunny of a bounce.
-
yep some good rugby by both. Looking like it could be an even more improved Wallaby team this year.

as long as they don't fill it with under performing players from some other franchise
-
@machpants I don't see any evidence of that with Rennie.

I don;t think so either, as he doesn;t have the time invested with them, but falling back on tried and true (ahem Foster, ahem Eddie) is a bad hole to fall in!

Would only expect Hooper out of the Tahs and Force combined

Hooper doesn't play for either this season lol

Oops forgot he is in Japan but still available for the Wobblies?

Yeah I think so, like the ABs over there
-
Well, that lived up to expectations. Some big nuts on JOC going for goal more often than not, but jeez it paid off.
Great game - wish we had the quality to deliver more of those. Some key battles for Wallaby jerseys in that game but nothing is decided yet.
Ponies lost experience without AAA and then the young props got the shit hammered out of them by the slightly-less-young Reds props.

Think we have enough guys playing their hands up.
