Whetton can't even make the 23.

With Wykes back, and given the improved scrum performance and mobility around the park provided by Sinclair, easy decision.
-
Rebels by a penalty kick? 😉
-
@NTA Was Tom Horton ever the regular starting hooker at Sydney Uni?

Yeah that's him. U20 rep out of Mosman Whales.
-
Rebels looking good so far. Even managed a long range try.
10-0 after 14mins
-
Come on Rebels!
-
At ground level, the Tahs attacking formation looks disjointed.
Rebels look sharp in attack. To’omua controlling the game with relatively little pressure.
-
Tahs suck
About 60% possession & territory but losing 16-0

They lose shape and then just bash around the fringes. Too easy for Faamausili and Hosea
-
To’omua looking Carter-esque out here tonight.

Chris Whittaker has yet to show he is much of an attack coach.
-
More messy execution in attack by the Tahs which costs them a penalty.
-
On delay as I had to go out. Just finished first half. Little errors killing us.
Mark fucking alphabet and his one handed carries. FFS...

But we're making breaks. It's the handling that kills us.
-
Mark Alphabet might be shit, but Maddocks is having a complete 'mare
-
Was the Tahs 13 bad tonight? One of the least skilled players I've seen.
-
The Tahs remind me of the Blues sides of the majority of the 2010s with ball in hand. They show promise but are awful at protecting their own ball. The Rebels loosies had a field day at breakdown led by Hardwick.
Could be a long few seasons for the Tahs going through a rebuild like this but it'll be worth it in the long run.
-
@nta hes obviously so much more talented than Mark though. Confidence shot through the arse, but hardly surprising given hes made the worst career choice ever moving to the Tahs.

Will it, though?
Remember that these guys don't have any victories to look forward to, and will be thinking about their careers. Their agents will be thinking about their careers.
Do you stay and risk it staying crap? Do you get out and blame the crap on the circumstances?
I know what you're saying, particularly given the age of some of these kids, but there will be some serious contemplation going on.
-
@nta yeah id be jumping ship
-
Tahs and seagulls fighting over the scraps.
-
-
@nta Fair point, guess time will tell. Just hope that the whole organisation from top to bottom buy into the process which is the only way it will work.
-
That was difficult to watch from a Tah's perspective. Wow! Where do you go from here if you are Penny?

The dumb fucks at NSWRU will probably fire him

Why would that be such a bad option?
-
@winger Well he doesn't really have a lot to work with haha.
-
He "has the full confidence of the board", so he'll likely be out before the end of the season.
