This season's Super Smash is now underway with Canterbury hosting Wellington to kick things off.

The Blaze won the opening game and Firebirds already have 80 runs of 6.5 overs. Allen just notched up his half century of 22 balls and another new prospect Georgeson is also looking good with 28 off 19.

@labcat two wickets in three balls have Canterbury back in it but sheesh F Allen is devastating. How the hell didn’t he make the Black Caps t20 squad especially after the season he had? Get him in there ASAP I’d say. He looks way too good for Super Smash cricket.
