Please see explanation in the 13. Centre thread.

This is for the bloke in the mid-field who wears 12 and stands next to the 10 five eighths of the way between the forwards and the fullback. Not some crazy notion of being some sort of "Centre".

So please nominate, and say why.

Refer rules in Sports Talk forum.

      Nominations closed.

Surname First Name Country Pros Cons
AKI Bundee IRE Messed up the ABs
De ALLENDE Damien SAF just class
KEREVI Samu AUS no one else is even close; hits hard in tackles;real hard to stop in attack; tore the Saffer’s vaunted midfield apart; Wallabies are a completely different team when he plays; no player more important to any international team at the moment; as the main reason why Australia won against South Africa; His return was decisive for the Aussies

Samu Kerevi and no one else is even close. Hits hard in tackles, but more importantly is real fucking hard to stop in attack. Tore the saffers vaunted midfield apart. The Wallabies are a completely different team when he plays.

Hard to think of another player more important to any international team at the moment.

Kerevi was the main reason why Australia won against South Africa. His return was decisive for the Aussies.
