never, ever thought i would make this nomination, but

        2021 Quade Cooper

Calm, controlled, smart. Keeps the ball in front of his team, picks his passes, kicks from hand well, even does physical things like take the line on, make tackles, and hit rucks. Kicks his goals

One of the more remarkable late career turnarounds you will ever see.

Romain Ntamack, that escape from his in goal is worth a nom and he just looks like he has the skills to run a team well.

Not a vintage crop of international 10s at the moment but he's the stand out

Finn Russell. Has time on his hands with the ball like only the truly great do.

Not saying he's necessarily a truly great, but he has that attribute.

Ntamack. This poll has come too early for Smith/Eddie didn’t pick him soon enough.

Excuse my ignorance. How much did Smith play? Also form in Club footy is admissible as evidence.

Ok fuck it, I’ll nominate Smith then. Steered the foundering ship that was Harlequins to the Premiership title, made his England debut, got a Lions call up and has cemented his place at 10 for England.

He has my nomination but I’ll likely vote for Ntamack 😀

Beauden Barrett, of New Zealand. Played pretty good in a team with no plan.

@catogrande How many tests did Ntamack play this year? He was great against AB's but I don't remember him in 6N.

I only saw N'tamack in 1 test, so couldn't really say him. Like the look of Smith from Pommyland, but what I saw this year, Cooper was ok for Wallabies, and looked even better because of absolutely no competition for spot in Aus.
For ABs, although at start of season I would of said Mounga, but BB has certainly overtaken him with time in the 10 shirt, and RM just hasn't really taken his game to next level at tets as yet.
So go along with no real stand outs , though of tests I watched would say BB by a whisker.

I tend to agree, he was really composed in a team that is known for panicking. He didn't play the ABs, or on the EOYT, but when he was on the park he transformed the Wallabies. With Kerevi outside him they were a real force.

Ntamack by a country mile. He was very good during the 6N, walked on the water in the Top 14 and was decisive against the ABs.

Whilst I agree with his nomination, he did only play one and a half games in the 6N this year and the one game he started, they lost.
