No Sexton is a big blow
France by 6-9
-
A 6-2 split for the French bench.
-
Very young 12 for France, Ireland have shown the ability to target inexperienced midfielders already
-
Oh I like this.
Pity don't get to see Jonny sexcrys face though.
-
Geez Gibson-Park is quick!
-
Hah, that was slick by Hansen. France made to look thoroughly stupid there.
-
Hansen in for Oirland straight from the kick-off.
Freakish start to the game. 17 points after 8 minutes.
-
France 13 Ireland 7.
Big French forwards bossing it so far.
-
The commentator persisting with saying ooontamack is getting annoying.
-
France 19 Ireland 7 going into half time.
-
France all class in the way the All Blacks used to be.

Miles Harrison saying anything is annoying
-
Great comeback from Ireland. It was 22-7, now 22-21 after a couple of Irish tries. Some Test this now.
-
France in again. The pace that they put on the ball is impressive.
-
Try France by the Prop Baille. Conversion no good. 27-21.
-
-
Big call from Galthie. Dupont subbed.
-
Irish penalty. They go for goal rather than the corner. Over. 27-24 to France with ten minutes to go.
-
Jaminet with the winning try for France. 32-24 with kick to come. Three minutes to go.

my stream is behind, waiting to see if it is awarded.
Rocks in the head from an irish defender anyway - went to ground, elbows on the deck, scooped the ball. Clear penalty
-
Officials looking at this again and again and again. French crowd not happy about this and booing very loudly.

yeah, it's crazy thatyou drop on the ball you carry, but if your arm is under it and you can't see clearly it could be ruled out. TMO baby - just award in real time and let it run

No try. Ridiculous decision. French crowd not happy at all.

I'm not happy either, would be spitting if it was my team. FFS.
-
Penalty instead. Knocked over. 30-24 with two minutes to go.

if that decision costs them the game ...
-
Ireland knock on. France with the ball with less than a minute to go.
-
Ball out. France win 30-24. 🇫🇷
Impressive from them, again.

Only caught the last few minutes. They throw passes like the ABs used to - bullets. Creates space and time. Great to watch, allez le bleus
-
30 seconds to go and he kicks it away. Wtf.
-
A decent watch but this shows how Ireland's discipline is dependent on the ref. I thought Gardner had a good game and tried to let the game flow.
The Irish commentator seemed to have an infatuation with 19 stone men.
-
The French forwards were impressive and won most of the collisions. They showed Foster what level of physicality is required to win a game against the top NH nations.
-
I like, to one degree or another, most of the pundits, although all have an annoying element but by fuck the Scots and Irish pundits do like to big up their own guys. . Case in point today, Andy Nichol: here comes the child-man. His musculature is incredible. WTF?

Cracking match
-
Firstly ,it was great to see the worlds best official Angus Gardiner in action , the way he managed the players in and around the breakdown was superb and also taking control of what looked like a nothing penalty and overturning it for some obstruction from Bundee Aki that was called by the AR.
On the game , always thought despite the Irish battling back to within a point , the French had the game in the bag..great breakdown work saw some superb counter rucking and fierce linespeed pressure on the Irish ball carriers saw handling errors ..
A really enjoyable watch. -

Totally the right call. Ref called held up in real time, TMO confirmed. Gardner was on song most of the match

I have only seen the highlights clip but Angus was possibly the only one with a decisive view. We needed a cam from behind at the right angle for that.
I don't think it was outrageous to call held up. The was a good chance that any evidence would be on the TMO replay.Although it is still possible that the ball touched the grass (some would say probable), there was no evidence.

They were blowing out their arses in the last 20 min. Ireland with too many simple mistakes including, incredibly going for 3 points when 6 points down and 10 minutes to go.
