Ha, snap. AJ Lam should have Ennor's spot in the ABs. Great at centre and wing, reminds me of Cullen in the tackle, you think he's tackled and he keeps powering through. Very deceptive strength.

              Better than LF too

Needs some time in the midfield at SR level though. Hopefully he is used as cover by the Blues ahead of Bryce Heem (who is still great injury cover in the squad)

Speaking of Heem, when he returns from injury Auckland should play him on the wing and leave AJ at 13

not voting as I didn't follow the game closely enough (on in the background), but how has Plummer been going? I saw some strong carries into traffic from him, but aware it's the odd glimpse, not a proper watch.

This seemed a better thread to get an opinion 🙂

He's been playing well considering the long break. He seems to have a lot more time playing outside of Funaki compared to Ruru in the past.

The biggest error he's made so far was that foot trip last week. I'm not convinced he should be captain (Choat or Hodgman make more sense to me)

His running game has been strong, all those matches playing at 12 probably sharpened that up. If anything he's probably overplaying the running.
Can't complain too much though as the backline is functioning well. A lot of that has been Plummer finding space with his passing and cross kicks

So, general play goodish. Captaincy mixed

Yes the Funaki - Plummer axis is working well. Good to see both getting consistent minutes.

Backline has a good balance to it - the midfield compliments each other well.

Census Johnston doing well with the scrum.
