    Hope I am proven wrong as this should be a cracking game but Pickerell? He's baffling at NPC level, let alone a high pressure environment like this.

    Misprint. He's actually the ref assigned to the Blues this year (can't ref them in a game but helps them during the week).

    As a TMO in this game he'll be fine

    Interesting tactical battle later. Ireland will look to speed up the game, France will look to stop them. Refs cracking down on players not holding their weight in rucks now which means France will have to be careful as they like to blitz through rucks.
