Damage limitation rather than going out to win it

Jeez Mike, that is a Dad’s army of guys who’s best days are some time ago. You never know with you’re lot if they’re going to pull something surprising out of the bag, but if last week’s France turn up - look out!

Surprised Gats didn't get Lydiate into the squad to get the oldest backrow in history. 🤣

Hilarious. That looked like the whole Welsh backline had large sums on a forward to score first.

Wales fell away then after taking it to France in the 1st quarter.

A couple of curious advantage calls by Berry. Late in the first half, knock on by France, advantage called, a couple of phases, advantage over called. Breakdown a bit further upfield for France so he calls back to the scrum for the knock on. Another early in the second half looked dodgy too.

This tournament has really shown what a loss WG is to NZ coaching.

Well what a fluffybunny. My opinion of Penaud just took a massive dive.

Took a massive dive and stayed down for about 3-4 minutes it seemed, after he got contacted by a Welsh player running back.

Then got up once play had stopped and whinged at the ref the whole way back.

                          Rightly got nothing.

Far better than I dared to hope for

                              Wainwright had a good match

Wales best game of the tournament, but not enough to beat a strong and confident French team. N'tamack was sublime. Is he the world's best 1st Five ? Russell can be brillant but is rocks and diamonds. You rarely see N'tamack make blunders.
