    An ‘alarming’ Achilles injury cluster in the Wallabies last year prompted a review. So why did another just occur?

    Allan Alaalatoa became the fifth player on Australian duty to rupture his Achilles tendon in 13 months. It is an injury usually seen in a team once every few years.

    Seems like a common risk factor has been guys returning to play from other injuries to their lower legs/ankles.

    Not surprising - you need to shift that load somewhere else, it is going to put more pressure there.

    I think our S&C is not up to it, along with many other things in the back office.
