For those in the know why would the NZ Herald publish this https://www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/mcdonalds-order-error-leaves-traumatised-vegetarian-in-tears-and-vomiting/3B7UIPNV5XHUUOVB3JC4RQPL4Y/
Is it to share these horrific stories that vegetarians face so we can all help with a change to society
Or is it educate people that there are some whackos out there and we need to look out for them In case we have an encounter?
Or is it just plain old "Entertainment" to make us laugh and smile
She’s fat for a vegetarian. By the looks of her the french fries take a good old pounding every time she visits.
If I were a vegetarian and risked the utter trauma and anguish she obviously faced by eating meat I certainly wouldn’t trust a bunch of pimply teenagers working a grill not to accidentally fuck things up once in awhile and put meat in a vege burger.
Thank god Stuff.co.nz lap this shit up and publish articles like this so we can sympathise.
I also like how she’s not a “preachy vegetarian” but she’s happy for the world to read how triggered she is about eating meat.

I hate the articles about females who are refused entry somewhere because of what they are wearing, like they are some sort of victim of outrageous sexism. Hello, as a male I have been subjected to this ever since I have been going out. If you don't like the dress rules don't go there.

Yeah used to shit me no end watching chicks wander on in in basically jandels with heels and a singlet. Meanwhile, my shoes aren't shiny enough or my collar isn't big enough.
I still refuse to wear my turtle-neck and moccasins to this day in protest.

The girls never used to get told their outfits are too casual when they hit the club

Interesting weather and weather forecast to go kayaking in. Hope they've made it to shore safe and sound though!

Wow, kayaking in this shit is dumber than holding a sign in front of a bunch of riders in the Tour de France.

Especially when this weather has been flagged up for a while as a severe warning and people on that coast told to get out of their houses.
Hope they end up safe and well with a large invoice from the coastguard. -

@mn5 It's also incredibly selfish. Shits me no end when rescue teams have to risk their lives because some dumb shit goes somewhere sometime they shouldn't.
Indeed. It’s not like they have to go out on a kayak to feed their families. What a pair of fucken morons.

They both got eaten by the shark in the wave in that picture. Or have I just channeled @Fullermorg ?
I have actually seen a shark in a wave like that, at Piha so not complete imagination.

those kayakers should be sent the bill!!
“It was great, we live for this stuff, getting out before work and enjoying it out there, really good surf," he said.
“We play it safe, I can hardly talk, my mouth’s frozen.“We’ve got all the safety equipment, we love it, we enjoy it.
“It’s only for experienced paddlers, if you’re not experienced you wouldn’t go out in this stuff, we always play it safe.”

If we stop people doing this sort of shit we are taking further steps to becoming a nanny state. Not something I would have done but I respect their right to do it.

@crazy-horse and if one of the SAR guys had been injured or worse attempting to 'rescue' them?
What they probably should have done was notify SAR they were going out, where they were going so they knew they didnt need 'rescuing' when reports came in there were people out kayaking.
