Without knowing the circumstances I still despise this idiot for attacking a politician.
Especially one that is probably suffering from malnutrition....
Hope he gets named and shamed sooner rather than later and I bet it is a farmer

A man has been arrested after an unprovoked attack on Green Party co-leader James Shaw on his way to work.
So which is it?
I've long argued that eligible citizens should be allowed to punch one politician per year. Admittedly friends who are/ were politicians weren't terribly enthusiastic about this suggested policy of mine.

I reckon you should be able to sell your vote on an auction site. Solves so many issues, helps with poverty etc

Arden has done a great job over last few days. Getting anti immigration/anti Muslim Peters out of the country was a stroke of genius.
I wonder with all this talk around 'hate speech' will also apply to political parties who campaign against immigration then get in to Government and then don't change a thing.
Bridges was also made to look the fool with deleting the petition.
-
@Toddy yeah I think this tragedy might be the making of Ardern as a leader and will go a long way to securing her a 2nd term.
Bridges cant buy a trick really, if a poll was run now, I reckon he would have fallen further, again.
National really need to do something quick smart about thier leadership if they want to have any chance at next election.

@jegga seriously, why is he still here??
His mate has Arderns phone number?
I’m surprised they haven’t said he’s being deported as soon as his sentence is up , they are handing a gift to national every time immigration try to kick out someone like that volunteer firefighter in Nelson

@jegga but National simply arent smart enough to use it to thier advantage
Jacinda has banked alot of points in the past few weeks, so not sure National could do much anyway.
The second point is more likely, I think national have conceded 2020 and are hoping labour wipe out a coalition partner when they return to parliament and labour’s record going back to the 60s of leaving office with the economy in tatters gets them booted in 2023 .

And splitting up families should be a bad look too.
I had to laugh when the father said it would be different if his wife wore a hijab/headscarf. Either that or his wife should have been a drug trafficker

Bridges is not up to it. The electorate are slurping the Jacko Kool Aid and reading their Woman's Days. I'm not sure who they have to step up

He doesn't look terribly bright does he?
No. And contrary to Bill English's famous quote, politics is a popularity contest, and Bridge's does not come across as smart funny or cool

Interesting...
Miss 10 doesnt fit in the age groups that automatically qualify...she asked me why and I told her Jacinda said she'd be ok...happy we are doing our part in the Pacific, but...
