Correct. MvJ is on edge hoping that Red Bull will post his historic 4,000th post here in Fatbusters.

My exercise routine has fallen to pieces (due to work) and have been eating what ever has been put in front of me.
Aaaaaaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhh!

Unless you are the Prime Minister (and even then) food is a hell of a lot more important than work. You need to tell yourself this, if necessary before or just after every hamburger  Seriously, screw work. Finding food you like to eat, and that is good for you, is far more important. Work, smerk. If they sack you because you were spending too much time putting something healthy together in the staff kitchen find another job. You can't however find another body.
Work has settled down now so back on the straight and narrow.
Good, but see above  The weather's heaps better now for Fatbusting; MvJ shared your frustration a few weeks ago. It's great news you're still the same weight despite the diet "blips". Knock them dead and keep us informed. -
Yes, we've made it to six months my porky little friends. Six months of fat busting, and sweet Jesus I feel better than I have in three or four years.

Also miraculous is that MvJ has managed to moderate something for six months and not ban himself.

Let's have some six month results in this thread please, whether weight, strength or whatever other measure. I am not the slightest bit stronger in my puny arms but over the six months I have fatbusted 8.5% of the former MvJ or...
On the back of some credible medical advice, my mounting thesis workload and due to the utterly ludicrous $35 entry fee, I have decided not to run the HM.
The workload you knew about and, from my recollection, posted about in your first post on this thread. The $35 entry fee MvJ would have gladly offset against the $50 you owe me for purchasing dinner with me on the Buy, Sell and Exchange Thread. But you did not solicit assistance.

The credible medical advice (about which you supply no information) may or may not have legs. I will give you the benefit of the doubt seeing as I know you and, whilst I suspect you are a blouse, it takes one to know one.
I will however continue my fitness program with a view to running one well prepared next year.
That is the spirit. We look forward to your daily updates continuing. To assist you I have renamed this thread to more accurately reflect your current intentions now the half marathon is out of the immediate picture. I have also stickied it. -
MvJ is going from strength to strength  Presuming the teams do not default, MvJ is going to smoke up the field this weekend by getting to the blind side at every breakdown even if he was to drive...
-
Yay, I have a game this weekend. Boo, it's fourth grade and will be about 5 minute halves. But combined with touch tomorrow, and a run maybe on Thursday the fat will be kept down. MvJ weighed in this morning at 74.8kgs, which is a 7kg loss. We are going for ten baby.
-
It sat up and said hit me...

Sorry.

If Barnyard's dedication to exercise is the equal of his dedication to updating this daily, I think he's in trouble... -
That's the end of the rugby season so MvJ is in big trouble fatbusting wise. Let myself go totally this weekend-- a steak tonight, and Oporto yesterday. But touch is still continuing on Tuesdays and MvJ will weigh in again shortly.
-
MvJ will bring the Fern around for a spot of croquet and cucumber sandwiches in about six months time, and of course to charm and delight MTAÂ
-
I was 53kg in my last year at school, and ballooned out to 81.8 by the time Fatbusters started, 10 years later. So it's crap.
-
Shrugging off the TSF working bee at NTA's house, I refereed this weekend and gave myself 7.5 out of ten which I'm happy enough with. I went to the chemist on Friday for something to numb the pain coming from my ribs so I could actually run. He surpassed himself, and $30.90 later I had Voltaren tablets and the gel.

Both were applied liberally by MvJ half an hour before kick-off. Worked a treat, and I didn't feel anything.

This morning I woke up and it feels like someone's dropped a safe on my chest. It hurts to laugh... -
Nah, I'm taking a very laid back attitude as that's got me this far. Good humour, and a bit of empathy even.
-
Touch today, bloody painful. I think I cracked a rib on the weekend. Must weigh in again...
-
Well done MvJ, his first Grand Final appointment ever this weekend. I feel in the form and fitness of my life too. I really enjoyed Saturday's game, and backed up with a two hour recovery walk over the hills of the eastern suburbs on Sunday. Wasn't half stiff and sore either; it was a fair workout.

I put my form down to two factors, in equal parts:

(1) Fatbusting (thanks Fern!);

(2) Leaving a job that was stressing me to tears.

In other words, healthy body, healthy mind.

If any pictures surface this weekend, they might be posted... -
Yeah, even though MvJ is of the get hard school, it's obvious even to me that you shouldn't be running on it. Find something else, and please do not go aqua-jogging in speedos.
Good job on the run; I agree with the two keys to a successful run that you've outlined. -
MvJ has been handed a preliminary final this weekend (yay!) so will endeavour to spice up the fitness regime before that. A run should do that, combined with the touch we played at lunchtime yesterday.

Weight still holding steady, diet still good. -
I am deadly serious, and I have no idea why OZ don't import them from wherever NZ do.

My sister was over from Auckland two weeks ago and I had to actually take her to the supermarket and show her the prices as she refused to believe me. -
On the contrary, I am sure the time away from the keyboard will see him lose a shedload of weight in short time.
