1972 Okara Park.
From memory it was quite an adventure to even get into the ground. Walking for miles, being thrown over fences, running across railway tracks, dodging the buses, huge queues. All this to find out it was standing room only on the bank, and therefore, as a 7 year old all you get to see is a sea of legs...
It was still quite an experience. Pity about the result.

A lot of complaining about the officiating but the fact is we are currently getting smacked by a 14 person team

This must be an early, leading contender for "The Lucky Mariner 2023 Award"
That is a very, very ugly sea. That rescue is an outstanding achiivement by the crew of HMNZS Te Kaha with support from the Northland Rescue helicopter.
NEWS 📢 A man on a catamaran in distress has been rescued and is safe on board Royal New Zealand Navy frigate HMNZS Te Mana.
The man was rescued by personnel on a small boat (RHIB) launched from Te Mana, while crew on a Northland Rescue Helicopter provided overwatch for the safety of all involved.
Maritime Component Commander Commodore Garin Golding said sea conditions had been challenging and everyone involved was pleased the person was now safe on board the ship.

In my experience, most Forwards actually looked like that before they started playing the game...

@nzzp I imagine they mean they'll have the checkpoint at the turnoff on SH1 rather than in Maungaturoto itself, so you could avoid that by sliding through Mangawhai and Waipu. But then to avoid Uretiti you'd have to go west and if you've got kids in the car you won't be wanting to go down Ormiston Rd or Caves Rd or you'll never get the vomit smell out of the car.
It's unlikely that they will want two checkpoints on SH1.
They will probably have the SH12 checkpoint between the Maungaturoto Dairy factory and SH1 turnoff (maybe at the old truck weigh station on the flats).
If you wanted to avoid this take Mountain Rd on the left north of Kaiwaka (@ 8km on gravel).
The SH1 Uretiti checkpoint can be easily avoided by turning left on to Rosyth Rd about 2km north of Waipu, left on to Mountford and right on to Doctors Hill Rd (@ 7kms all on seal). -
typical cynical crusader defensive penalty... oops

@Duluth Yay!, that means it's Southland's turn then......

The Ukrainians are claiming they hit the ship with two Neptune anti ship missiles.
Either way it's a
bloodybroken nose for the Russian Black Sea fleet. -
Why bother with extra time at all? A draw was as a fair reflection of the game at fulltime as it was after extra.

So true, so many times...
What backs thinking they have an overlap?
Well, they are the team members that actually can count...

Well done Argies.
ABs very poor.
Most random reffing performance I have seen for some time, well since that Wales v Boks test.
He's simply not up to standard but he wasn't the reason you lost.
Was a factor.
Take him out and we win.
Not convinced
Ref wasn't committing the penalties and throwing the ball in shit
Ref invented penalties, for one side and ignored the other side.
It created the scoreboard pressure. And subsequent panic.
Sure we did stupid shit too.
But change that factor and put a proper ref in charge and that result changes.
That's down to the captain, players and coaches not adapting to the ref
Everyone knew he's useless before kick off
NZ did not play the ref, Argentina did
End of
So you're saying the referee's inadequacies affected the result?
I agree entirely
The team's inadequacies affected the result much more

An excellent report, thanks.
I may have a slight bias, but I can't think of a more deserving team to be perched at the top...
