RE: Argentina One: Parramatta, 14 November
Are there any decent journalists that are going to ask some pointed questions of these guys at the next few press conferences?

So if RSA/Canada and ABs/Italy were scheduled in reverse the Boks would be eliminated? If the ABs lost to South Africa in the opening fixture (without a Bonus point) and all else was the same they would be eliminated?
Waaaay to close to close to the sun there.
No, if the All Blacks were at risk of missing the quarter finals they would have used their influence over World Rugby to have the Typhoon moved off course or asked for Japan to be moved out off the way...

Shittings! Aussie media throwing everything into this game!
These stories must have been saved up for Test week surely?
Edit: starting to test the 'better people make better All Blacks' mantra as well...

@Jaguares4real largely meaningless in a world cup year, largely meaningless between world cup years. Got it.

I'm slightly concerned by Plumtree's assertion that if the ref doesn't control the Aussie's cheap-shotting, we'll have to have a crack ourselves. That's the sort of thing that leads to cards in test matches - and with both teams looking to assert themselves, card(s) won't surprise me.
This and Coles starting is a concern!

@unite yup top two teams of the SRTT table, nowhere does it say you 'carry over' your SRA/SRAu points, not that I can see. It is ambiguous tho
Well it states the top two teams from the combined competition points table will play in the final, if they are not combining the tables from the domestic comps with the trans Tasman one I am not sure why they mention a combined table.

@stargazer well sure but the format would seemingly disadvantages the Reds and Brumbies on paper. The Reds and Brumbies look more than a match for the kiwi sides but the Force and Tahs look weaker than the weakest NZ teams so easier for nz sides to rack up wins.
Points are carried through from Super Rugby AU and Super Rugby Aotearoa into Super Rugby TT, so Reds are well on top to host the final of that as well. Reds are on 32 points with one more game to play. Crusaders are on 18 with 3 more to play.
I don't believe that is the case. Everyone starts from zero in Super Rugby TT.
This is where I read that the final will be between the top two teams based on the combined table.

Somewhat interesting that the last time the All Blacks nearly lost to Argentina it was Scott Robertson that saved them.
