Fatbusting: Paj Log

You might gain weight by addition of muscle Paj. Also make sure you weigh yourself same time every day - first thing in the morning after the daily leak is the best.
My boss's PA says this is the best time as well, but couldn't explain why. MvJ's theory is the opposite. I reckon that if you weigh yourself at the end of the day after dinner, then you're actually at your heaviest? That makes it more realistic because we don't carry actually carry ourselves around all day with an empty stomach and bladder. I am prepared to be wrong. -
Yeah but you consume and digest food at different rates MvJ unless you're eating and drink the same things for dinner and the hours leading up to it every night, you've no idea how much you absorbed or broke down into the bloodstream. After 6-8 hours' sleep the body is usually finished with everything and converted it into urine and faeces.

What a terrible weekend!

Why is it friends visit from overseas one weekend and want to get on the turp's and then next weekend another mate comes back for a flying visit and decides to have a party....

So after the weekend back on track with fruit, cereal for breakfast, chicken roll lunch and pork and vege's for dinner.

Lack of water today which is a downfall.

Haven't weighed self as know I have put on weight from bourbon and coke, beer. -

I agree; it actually starts to become a pain in the arse. Add in birthdays, the rugby etc etc, and you're expected to turn out 3 nights a week a lot of the time. I have no idea what the answer is. -
OK...have had a week or so where I have fallen off the bandwagon and strayed to the dark side.

But not as bad as it all seems as the wagon was close enough to pull back up onto.

Been for a few runs, eaten good food....BUT have let myself down at the weekends with booze and takeaways.

Now problem is staying away and working 12-14 hrs, eating on the go. But mostly manual work so at least lifting Pokie machines around rooms and onto trucks is a good workout! -
So far not running as much as I would like due to working late, still been out for a few jogs around the beach.

Have now got into eating properly and feel guilty if I haven't made a packed lunch.

Found a old fav tee shirt in a clean out on weekend which I haven't been able to wear for a few years, managed to pull it one. Still a little way to go, but a hell of a better fit than a year ago when tried it on. -
Right....

Since last reporting in have not hit the goal. But have lost weight.
Mrs Paj now moved into the "Love Shack" at the beach and we are playing happy families. Due to the extra bedtime activities and the fact she has just passed her Personal Trainer papers things looking good for future. She has also done the first shop, and that side of things not looking good. The fridge is full of girl food, and she has threatened to throw the fry pan out, I have told her if that goes so does she.

Got a call last week to see if I could bench for old team Wairoa Celtic. Turn up Sat to be handed No#3 jersey and told to play full 80mins. Could hardly move yesterday (Sunday) and even stiff and sore today, but surprised at how I got round the paddock. Not smoking helps, but the odd run during the weeks must have been paying off as well. -
Started running again this week.

Mon- 40min walk around streets.

Tues- 20min easy run

Wed- 25min easy/hard run

Thurs- Squash

Eating a shed load of healthy stuff
Muesli with fruit for breakfast
Sandwiches and fruit nuts and rasins for lunch
Heathly dinners

No booze during week. -
35min walk to supermarket for healthy food (willpower fading around bakery section but had to fight back and move to fruit area)

Yes, that is a shit; head's up to Red Beard for posting the www.bodyforlife.com link which contained a good tip-- shop once a week on Sunday. That obviously means you've got time to plan healthy meals and aren't ducking into the temptation of the supermarket 4 times a week.
I did BodyforLife 6 years ago during the offseason rugby. I went from 114kg to 103kg in 8 weeks and 4 weeks into the season was down to 100kg. I was way too light for playing in the backrow though..I remember actually getting bumped off by a first five!! -
Hardest part at the moment is motivation to go out for a run at nights when I get in from work. It's farken freezing and dark at 6pm and after spending half an hour putting on thermals and stretching up I make my move.

Eating healthy has been going sweet as Mrs Paj has been cooking vegetarian meals (tastes better than they sound) and now having home made soup for lunch.

The 2 litres of water is becoming easier as well and the worn carpet from my desk to the loo isn't getting as much of a hammering as a few months ago. -
Now looking at a gym as the lovely HB weather has been shit for going out at night for a run, so Mrs Paj and I today are going around looking at gyms and would prefer something with a swimming pool as part of the cost to join.

Slowly losing weight, but biggest problem is the booze. -
Have now bought a flash juicer and am loving it. Never in my wildest dreams realise carrot/ginger/beatroot juice would be tasty. Was down at the Farmers Market a couple of sundays ago and Taine Randles parents have a stall which does juices there and Taine was helping his Dad out so Mrs Paj and I stopped off for a "Liver Buster" Bloody beautiful, so since then been on the lookout for a good juicer. Have been expirementing with it last few nights and find it weird how much juice comes out of a single carrot.

No updates for a few days Pajjy.

What's the scoop or have you been getting a bit too much juice out of that carrot of yours?

Can't have too much apparently, otherwise skin starts to go orange <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Have been trying out different combinations. Prick of a thing to clean apprently -

We're still talking about the juicer right?

Or is that what you call it these days ... -
Since my last post things have changed dramatically, have changed jobs and am now back farming.

So, started new job 2 weeks ago and weighed myself of cattle scales on first day and around 115kg mark.

Last two weeks have involved the following...

Walking massive hills because I'm a chicken shit on 4 wheeler
Drenching mob of 1700 ewes
Vacinating 4900 ewes
Killing 4 dog tuckers and 1 mutton
Planting 100 poplar pole (trees)
Walking while mustering
Moving bulls on crop, fighting with new electric fence through crop, farken knackering.
Loading 32 wool bales to truck
Fencing
Walking, walking walking
Chasing bearing ewes around paddocks
Chasing working dogs that fark up

So, weighed mob of bulls today and jumped on scales and now 112kgs, trousers falling off and up two notches on belt.

Bad side of it all..... first week was in bed by 8pm, absolutely stuffed at the end of every day and sweating massively then stopping and being bloody cold in the wind.
