I went up to catch the game. Very similar style and flow to last week.
St mike Delaney didn't play to hos normal polished standard but his raking punts tore off huge tracts of territory.
Scrums still need work but over all they played really well.
Total determination to get the job done.
I was a little worried after spending so long camped in counties half we had so few points to show for the mahi the boys were giving.
Well done the steamers. Plenty of blue and gold sprinkled about and thank you for the lollies Hori
Nice win for THE BAY Congratulations. I feel we will meet again in the finals arena somewhere
Been away for the weekend. Watching the replay. Wow. Composure and dominance. (Scum apart). Then ....... the defence staye spud too and we didn’t leak points. Great start to the season which has lined us up against all the heavies early
I was a bit busy this week an have only signed in now.
A bit surprised there wasn’t a main post for this subject.
The boys payed well for 60 but some little errors started to creep in
Gusty effort though. And good promise for the rest of the season.
Notable highlight was poor old HORI BOP getting the yellow card from the officials for supplying the crown with a few lollies.
Love ya spirit and passion Hori.
@stargazer I didnt notice him specifically. Don’t think he was penalised for it. The counties 9 is Te Aihe TOMA. Plays his club rugby in BoP for Te Puna. Not wanted by BoP this year it seems. Nippy payer.
These two BAYs don't make it easy for us supporters
