No it doesn't - in fact I've just switched over to using water and the taste is almost as good.

no, i mean can you get protein from skimmed milk?

dumb question probably, but i'd assumed that they 'skim' the fat, not the protein?!

i dont use protein shakes and dont need to gain mass (i'm 6' 5" and 18 stone!) but would like to maintain muscle in my old age -

Milk - for me its a matter of making sure my diet has enough protein to do the muscle repair and enhancement stuff as the more lean muscle mass you have, generally the faster your metabolism is (provided you're using it)
New world record, well, new personal best.

8257 for 30 minutes. Ave 500m time of 1.49 flat.

Used a 2minute 'cruise' at 1:53 - 155, followed by a minute at 1:40 or as close to it as I could keep it,last minute went through at 1:37.

Heart rate at the end of that 19 beats per 6 seconds, so around 190 bpm.

I am currently still alive...
i dont understand how you can get such good 500m averages. I struggle to consistently break 2.00 unless i'm on my final 1000m. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

what setting do you row on Bart? I always have it on 10 which is the hardest - should i drop it down and then build up the resistance once i manage to average less than the 2.00 mark? or should i just keep at it on this setting?

how did you approach it?
