Yeah gonna be interesting to see how this pitch plays.
Saw India paying $2.50 and went to load up until I saw no Rohit and no Ashwin.
Brilliant fight in terms of a spectacle to watch. Both of them are showmen in the ring.
No problems with the result either for me. A lot of close rounds and I would have scored in 114-112 to Fury but can see arguments either way. Difficult to win a fight when you get knocked down twice but Fury almost did it.
Would def watch the rematch!
Another week goes by with no time to see a physio or doc. No training skipped tho with good sessions every day and good eats. Should be in good nick for summer if it ever turns up
Shoulders and arms today and chucked in some good old dips superset with tricep pressups. Today did them as countdowns starting 10 dips then 9 pressups then 8 dips etc down to 1. Did three of those bad boys near end of workout. Good fun
For me Wilder wins this in the first 3 rounds. Sure hes not the better boxer but hes an unpredictable animal and his style will make this more of a fight than a boxing match. As mentioned earlier in this thread, his angles are weird.
This fight is just so intriuging in that we have Wilder with his power and pretty average technical boxing ability vs a much more skilled but perculiar styled boxer in Fury. Its gonna be interesting that is for sure!
If it doesnt pan out like above then Fury is gonna have to keep Wilder at a distance and fustrate the hell out of him. But I'm really not sure if Fury will have the fitness though to take the fight deep enough to win.
Update - 6 weeks in to season for 4 wins, a narrow loss and a wash out (weekend gone). Lads shown enough to make the clubs rep team for his age group. Its def not his batting that got him there but his bowling has been A1. Lacking in any real pace but great line and gets plenty of wickets for bugger all runs.
Joseph Kuhtze was an Auckland/upper NI beer. Terrible stuff from the DB family.
If you haven't got munted on 440ml 'Ranfurly draft' or 'South Island draft' you haven't lived
... (with a filthy hangover)
What about those Victory beers? Some cheap as hell imports in the mid 90s $10/doz
