Had a bad weekend due to friends visiting fron UK.<br />
<br />
Back on track yesterday with healthy food all day.<br />
<br />
Went for half hour run last night which was surprisingly easier than I thought.<br />
<br />
Haven't weighed in yet as no scales at home.

Another good day on the food...<br />
<br />
Healthy breakfast, with added extra of ants which somehow found cerial box, was a fair amount of the buggers crawling about in bowl, most did a runner, others drowned by milk and eaten.<br />
<br />
Ham tomato and lettuce sarni's for lunch, run out of fruit but shopping tonight<br />
<br />
Leg's are sore as hell today after last nights run.

More incentive to lose weight now as workmates have all had a weigh in and have set targets themselves. The idea is same as here, set own goal but no time period but once at their target weight have to hold that weight for a month to win. Losers have to grow a Issac Boss beard, cook a full 3 course meal for winner and bragging rights.<br />
<br />
Had weigh in and seem to have put on a kg as new scales bought today show 107kgs...bugger as feeling good, belt has gone up a notch, tee shirt that was tight now loose....<br />
<br />
Must start making something different for lunch as getting sick of ham, tomato and lettuce...

You might gain weight by addition of muscle Paj. Also make sure you weigh yourself same time every day - first thing in the morning after the daily leak is the best.

That's the problem there NTA, weighed after having a couple of sandwiches and apple, banana and a shed load of water and coffee during the day.<br />
<br />
Not overly concerned at this stage as back running last few nights, been eating healthy except for a couple of bad nights with a pudding the old lady dropped off.<br />
<br />
Flat mate who is doing the Tremains Tri this weekend has been going hard out as well and is doing the 5km run. Is a ex prop who has lost a shit load of weight and been running for a few years now and have been going out running at nights but can't keep up with him, did his PB last night with 5 km in 20mins 30 sec's. He was completely farked at the end of it and laying flat out on driveway as I cruised back past him from my "jog"

Did you run straight past him and ask "what's the problem? Can't handle it?" <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> He'd be too stuffed to chase you <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

My boss's PA says this is the best time as well, but couldn't explain why. MvJ's theory is the opposite. I reckon that if you weigh yourself at the end of the day after dinner, then you're actually at your heaviest? That makes it more realistic because we don't carry actually carry ourselves around all day with an empty stomach and bladder. I am prepared to be wrong.

Yeah but you consume and digest food at different rates MvJ unless you're eating and drink the same things for dinner and the hours leading up to it every night, you've no idea how much you absorbed or broke down into the bloodstream. After 6-8 hours' sleep the body is usually finished with everything and converted it into urine and faeces.

What a terrible weekend!<br />
<br />
Why is it friends visit from overseas one weekend and want to get on the turp's and then next weekend another mate comes back for a flying visit and decides to have a party....<br />
<br />
So after the weekend back on track with fruit, cereal for breakfast, chicken roll lunch and pork and vege's for dinner.<br />
<br />
Lack of water today which is a downfall.<br />
<br />
Haven't weighed self as know I have put on weight from bourbon and coke, beer.

I agree; it actually starts to become a pain in the arse. Add in birthdays, the rugby etc etc, and you're expected to turn out 3 nights a week a lot of the time. I have no idea what the answer is.

OK...have had a week or so where I have fallen off the bandwagon and strayed to the dark side.<br />
<br />
But not as bad as it all seems as the wagon was close enough to pull back up onto.<br />
<br />
Been for a few runs, eaten good food....BUT have let myself down at the weekends with booze and takeaways.<br />
<br />
Now problem is staying away and working 12-14 hrs, eating on the go. But mostly manual work so at least lifting Pokie machines around rooms and onto trucks is a good workout!

So far not running as much as I would like due to working late, still been out for a few jogs around the beach.<br />
<br />
Have now got into eating properly and feel guilty if I haven't made a packed lunch.<br />
<br />
Found a old fav tee shirt in a clean out on weekend which I haven't been able to wear for a few years, managed to pull it one. Still a little way to go, but a hell of a better fit than a year ago when tried it on.

Right....<br />
<br />
Since last reporting in have not hit the goal. But have lost weight. <br />
Mrs Paj now moved into the "Love Shack" at the beach and we are playing happy families. Due to the extra bedtime activities and the fact she has just passed her Personal Trainer papers things looking good for future. She has also done the first shop, and that side of things not looking good. The fridge is full of girl food, and she has threatened to throw the fry pan out, I have told her if that goes so does she.<br />
<br />
Got a call last week to see if I could bench for old team Wairoa Celtic. Turn up Sat to be handed No#3 jersey and told to play full 80mins. Could hardly move yesterday (Sunday) and even stiff and sore today, but surprised at how I got round the paddock. Not smoking helps, but the odd run during the weeks must have been paying off as well.

35min walk to supermarket for healthy food (willpower fading around bakery section but had to fight back and move to fruit area)<br />

Yes, that is a shit; head's up to Red Beard for posting the www.bodyforlife.com link which contained a good tip-- shop once a week on Sunday. That obviously means you've got time to plan healthy meals and aren't ducking into the temptation of the supermarket 4 times a week. <br />
<br />

I did BodyforLife 6 years ago during the offseason rugby.  I went from 114kg to 103kg in 8 weeks and 4 weeks into the season was down to 100kg.  I was way too light for playing in the backrow though..I remember actually getting bumped off by a first five!!

Hardest part at the moment is motivation to go out for a run at nights when I get in from work. It's farken freezing and dark at 6pm and after spending half an hour putting on thermals and stretching up I make my move. <br />
<br />
Eating healthy has been going sweet as Mrs Paj has been cooking vegetarian meals (tastes better than they sound) and now having home made soup for lunch.<br />
<br />
The 2 litres of water is becoming easier as well and the worn carpet from my desk to the loo isn't getting as much of a hammering as a few months ago.

Now looking at a gym as the lovely HB weather has been shit for going out at night for a run, so Mrs Paj and I today are going around looking at gyms and would prefer something with a swimming pool as part of the cost to join.<br />
<br />
Slowly losing weight, but biggest problem is the booze.
