Saw a few of your ex-Tring RUFC boys in The Boat on Saturday night celebrating a good league win.

I wandered over for a chat and mentioned I knew you.

"Aaah PAJJY!" they cried "What a fucking legend!"

Quite touching really.
Classic, they are storming up the League ladder which is great too see. They maybe a tad pissed off as managed to nab a Tring rugby ball, 3 first team jerseys, manager of 1st teams CCC jacket that only the coaching staff got, 2 other jerseys and CCC Tring Tee Shirt over a short period of time 😁
The guy who I was talking to had a lift off you up to Hawkes Bay last year during the Lions. Big Fukka - must be a prop, he made me look small!
Ah..thats Sam Seward the captain of the first team. Big farker alright, only a young fella too. Runs Set Tours the rugby/netball etc tours. Good bugger

Have now started Docking, 3 weeks of running around hill's chasing lambs. First day out back docking singles and did some massive walking around hills. Slept like a log last night, body aches, arms and shoulders sore from lifting lambs all day.

It's not getting any easier walking these hills every day. Yesterday started with mustering a paddock up hill from road to top yards which is almost straight up and down, dropped off at bottom and an hour later got to top minus all clothes except tee shirt and shorts.

Weighed self last night and now 106kgs

Today we docked a few late's and find it strange that all last week the fitness was coming along nicely. Bringing a mob of ewe's and lambs up a hill into the yards set up on slope, and when about to pen them go hell for leather and run up hill like mad chasing them in with dogs and rattles. By Friday it gets easier after doing 6 to 10 paddocks a day, today after 3 days of not docking and the first paddock of the day and I thought I was going to die after running up hill behind mob.
How long does it take for fitness to wear off?

    OK, back too the Fatbusting.

Seems I've had a bloody good Christmas and New Year....

Weighed in yesterday morning before breaky at 107kgs butt naked.

No real game plan this time except cutting down on some things like booze and bad foods and knocking other things off the menu completely like lollies. The lucky thing for me is I live a good 35mins from any shop, so I can't just pop out for a pie or cream donut. MrsPaj does the shopping in bulk and there's no show of "treats" like previous times.

We are now in the busy part of the season and weaning the lambs, so doing a fair amount of walking the hills mustering and taking stock away from Yards up the hill. So now making a bigger effort to leave 4wheeler behind and walk instead.

Goal- Not sure of a weight...would like to crack the double figures, but mainly to feel fitter and healthier.

Whenever you post about your farming Paj, I think of Wal Footrot battling away on a keyboard late at night with the dog sitting at his feet.
