Smart decision making
Smart tactical kicking
Excellent under the high ball
Has a knack of kicking clutch goals
Whilst he's also a big body he's also a better athlete than given credit for.
His punting this season really improved - noticeable length on his exits.
He deserves a chance to see what he can do.

Good news in the short term (I.e. trying to win this game) is the atmosphere out at Homebush is unlikely to be problematic

Swans are playing a home preliminary/semi final the same weekend
A large portion of the crowd that bother to go will be AB fans

We need players who make an impact.
We have bench players who come on and add fuck all. The likes of Ofa and Jacobson come to mind.
Either that or they are actually worse than that (think Perenara, Beauden, Finau last week etc)

The ABs lack the leadership, brains and frankly talent (some of these players need to be cast off) to close out games.
Luck is where you are in a position to lose and can't control the outcome but don't because of unforced errors.
They hold their nerve longer than the opposition. Hence they win.

Not sure if many remember what the ABs were like in 2004 when Henry, Hansen and Smith took over. They weren’t the great team they became. In fact, they were quite average.
Yeah they made some big calls on the end of year tour and went with youth (Carter, So'oialo, Collins etc)
