South Africa have some excellent young talent on the block. Sadly we lost our best batter Heinrich Klaassen. India played a big role in our cricket development. Marko Jansen was used by the touring Indians as a net bowler and got him into IPL. Luandrhe Pretorius is 19 years old and already in the IPL.

Great win by the Proteas. Always good to get one over Australia. This will put the Proteas next to Springbok rugby in South Africa. Our cricket has suffer long enough.

Watching our Wilde Klawer schools tournament this week. Some excellent fatties and not only from the Winelands factory. Outstanding was the blond surfer lh from Stilbaai playing for Oakdale and TH from Garsfontein called Proppie. Our schoolboy rule for a few meters pushing is a bad one. Also the red card allowing 7 men scrum on both side really bad ones.

Kitshoff and Malherbe must be freaks. Playing Super rugby the year after schoolboy rugby.

Leinster using different teams caught up on them. Their A team was rusty while their B team lost to the Bulls and Scarlets.

All the local Springboks are back in action in the URC after a long lay off. The URC is a chase for the top 8 business end and Champions Cup 2025/6. Only 8 log points between 5-14 with 3 rounds to go.
