However, I was rather proud that there were no racquet-throwing incidents from the Red Bull [/quote]
Clearly you are not fatbusting hard enough <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Seriously, though, good to see you are back into it. Variety is the spice of fatbusting as they say. The Red Bull mix of tennis and touch has always looked appealing. Now MvJ is playing a bit of touch again I cannot believe I didn't do so earlier. It's fun, and it's more fun if you can do it for more than five seconds without having a heart attack.

And stop complaining about the semi-tropical weather or you will be sent on a Fatbusting Scholarship to Christchurch, on a one way ticket <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

shudder.... fair point Captain Miller! I sharnt grizzle any more about Brisbane's lovely winter weather. The thought of winter in Christchurch is more than enough to jolt me back to reality. Your proposal is like a Fatbusters yellow card. And I am Fatbusters answer to Rocky Elsom. Â That would make you.....ahem...Kaplan! <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

edit: Nick, please don't mention such a hideous thought again. -

In Reuben Thorne? :nta -
Had footy again last night, and Jesus it was cold. Normally the cold, still Brisbane nights are laden with dew, but it was surprisingly dry. However, Red Bulls' bare feet didn't cope too well with the 10 degree temps. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> ...went numb in about 15 minutes....lucky I'm tough. The bare foot footy takes me back to Friday night rugby training as an under 7 kid at my local club. The sheer joy of running with the ball! <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Anyhow the game went for an hour and 10, and was a good solid run around. -
footy last night, 1 hr and 20 mins.....got heavily involved (more than usual, where I tend to loiter on the wing). The extra running and defending makes one get into a rhythm earlier. Might do that more often. A couple of meat pies for Red Bull too which was good. However....I was, and still am, thoroughly pissed off with myself as I let the final try of the game in by taking the wrong man in defence. Note to self: TAKE THE MAN WITH THE PILL! <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> It won't happen again.

Tennis tomorrow too, which I'm greatly looking forward to. -
tennis last night, and I'm proud to announce that for the first time ever, I went through the 3 standards sets (with a different partner each set) undefeated. Happy days. Only a couple of mini tantrums. :shifty:

Anyway, was a good run around for an hour and a half under lights.

Monday night had a great game of footy too, that went for the same amount of time. Our team hammered the opposition with Red Bull picking up 4 sneaky pies. The amount I'm getting involved is increasing each game, as my fitness gets back up I think. -
It also involves touching women  -
Correct. MvJ is on edge hoping that Red Bull will post his historic 4,000th post here in Fatbusters.

Hello Captain Miller and anyone thats bored enough to read this post.

Red Bull felt it was high fucking time he got his lazy life in order, and this started with getting a new job. Working as a graphic designer for myself, while allowing me to spend copious amounts of time to post shit on TSF, was not paying the bills quite as effectively as is necessary at my age. At the new job, if I tried to post on the Fern, the internet police would have my fucking nuts on toast (apologies if you're eating while you read this). Plus, of course, I wouldn't get the work done I need to do.

So now I'm working for a large printing company, and as a result, I just can't get onto the Fern as much as I'd like (if at all). It's been playing on my mind that I'm poised to hit the prodigious and prestigeous 4000 posts, but alas, after this post, it'll probably take another few months to get to the big figure.

Also, the hours I now spend actually doing work mean I have turned into a fat bastard again, reaching the sickening weight of 99.98 kgs. I'm still playing footy and tennis, but I've found my pace has dropped a bit. Not happy about that. Maybe it's something to do with hitting 30 years of age. I feel old and dirty. As opposed to when I felt young and dirty. -
you've been missed RB, no one to keep NTA in line on his side of the fence these days! Congrats on the new job but sorry to hear about the Fern access, my suggestion is all the time the site is accessible then nothing to stop you posting. People only ever check internet usage is if you're not doing what you're expected to do. Its all about managing expectations, get them used to a certain amount of work from you each day (usually about 3 hours proper work) then do a bit more and they think you're working your bollocks off, as it is, you're only working 3 and a half hours!

Good luck with FB's -
Thanks for your comments Dodge.......NTA certainly needs someone from his side of the pond to keep him in line...then again, he's just as unlikely to listen to one of his own countrymen as he is a Kiwi or Pom. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I'll post any progress of fatbusting in the near future, which starts with a diet revision. I'll get back to you. :shifty: -
Ok fellow fatbusters.....my fatbusting has wobbled to a halt of late, and I should really get back on it. When I started my new job before Christmas, I was ducking across the road to the carvery and getting a toasted ham/tomato sanger, along with a 600ml iced coffee. This, I now realize, is where my problems lie. Now that job seems to have taken a turn for the worse, I can avoid such lunch time habits.

At the peak of my fatbusting form, when I was sprint training, and watching carefully what I ate, I think I got down to something like 94-95 kgs. Sadly, I'm back up at 100 kgs on the dot, though I still have enough residual fitness and pace to hold my own at Monday night touch footy. Tennis is still going too. However, if I could get back to 95 kgs, it would be great for my general health, and I suppose for my all round effectiveness at footy.

So I think it's time to get into it again. I need to come up with a routine that doesn't rely as heavily on my knees as my old regime did, with all the running I was doing. This knee soreness was what caused the halt to the programme in the 1st place. A circuit-based routine may be the go, along with the elimination of foods such as toasted sangers and iced coffee! :shifty:

I need a moment to think about it..... :shifty: Any suggestions are welcome -
What about from the dot upwards <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> -
Smartarse.

From the dot upwards, I'm about a 6 pack of Fourex Gold cans and 3/4 of a bottle of Bundaberg's finest.

Which reminds me, I must get back onto drinking my Bundy with Schweppes Lime Soda, instead of coke, as I'm sure it contains less sugar, and tastes bloody good. I'm pretty sure that it contributed to significant weight loss back in my fatbusting heyday. :nta -
Thanks, but no thanks. I have tried it with Bundy and have decided I will stick to rum with lime soda, or even pineapple juice, before I'll get into that nutra sweet shit.

The hangover resulting from lime soda is far less unpleasant than what I got with rum/coke. It's a winner, I tell ya! -
