Well I assumed that police have a little more training than me in the art of shooting a gun.

But I forgot, it's the New Zealand police force.

Bunch of corrupt incompetent dickheads in my opinion...... :fishing:

( clearly there was a couple of misfires in there )

Claybirds very different to a rifle IMHO , you get way more time to aim since the targets not moving obviously , you probably have way better hand eye coordination than your mate . Speaking of which I bet Nick Willis hand eye coordination must be out of this world and he's probably slowing down a bit with age, maybe his Olympic future is in the skeet team? -

Are you trying to be ironic or funny or are there bases to these accusations ?

I think I have your type pegged, the kind that whinge about the awful police state you live in run by Nazi pigs who oppress your right to grow illegal hydroponics and do nothing but sit on their arses giving tickets yet also the first to cry if they don't red light to your place in two seconds flat if you hear something go bump in the night.
-

Yeah you know me so well.

Examples.....

Lets start with the 2007 commission of enquiry into police conduct (identified 300 women who had suffered from police misconduct).. and Greg O'Connors response in 2012 when asked if they had implemented the reccomendations in said report (called it "ritulistic humiliation of the police force)

What about Louise Nicholas and those arseholes Shipton and Schollum?

Tena Pora? Lets frame a young slow brown kid instead of looking at the evidence

David Tamiheri? plenty within the NZ legal communtiy who consider this a police stitch up
-

on the basis of your posts over a few topics, there isn't much you like about NZ, why are you still here, or are you tied to your desk?

Oh, and I know a lot of cops, and I guarantee not a single one is corrupt or an incompetent dickehads.
-

Mark Lundy, David Bain.

Although these 2 may have been guilty, the subsequent retrials show that the original convictions were shoddy and probably corrupt.

Other examples.

Arthur Allan Thomas - Lets plant the evidence so we look like we are doing our job

Peter Ellis - What a disgrace of an investigation

Roast busters

Urewera (so called) terrorist raids

Numerous deaths in police custody

And the IPCA.... so the department that is supposed to investigate police corruption is the police itself! That makes no sense to me
-

I love New Zealand,

I have a great work life balance. 25 hours a week over summer, spend most of my time in the great outdoors running/biking/snowboarding etc.

But I don't have a blind trust of the police force like the rest of you.
-

I have an easy retort to that.........

Untold fucken examples of brave, intelligent, tiring, resourceful, thankless , gruesome, gut wrenching tasks that the average person would squirm at yet these people face with a gusto that the likes of you could only dream of.

If Police are found to be incompetent or corrupt ( and of course this will happen in ANY organisation from time to time because we live in the real world not fantasy land ) then believe me they are hung out to dry and investigated thoroughly, incidentally this is by an independent body.

Bounce back with whatever tenuous examples you can, it won't help your case in the slightest.
-

Ex cops investigating current cops is a potential conflict of interest in my opinion.
