Very @Tim no idea what this is supposed to mean
I believe that she has recently announced she is to become single and quoted Instagram account owner appears to be asking her out.
Woulda thought it didn’t need explaining but there y’go
Ah, I had no idea what 'wyd you up' meant. Edit: still don't and I also don't Instagram so I didn't even realise it was a screen shot of a message!
You're not alone here fella, I had no clue
Yeah, I think I heard something in passing about them splitting up but I had no idea the message was in reference to that, nor that it was supposed to be funny...
Tough crowd, thank god for my other memes on here.

@bones you been in the UK too long bro, they aint 'ice lollies'
Hell yeah - I was in the UK for 13 years, and I have never in my life said 'ice lollies'.
I also pretty much went without chips/chippies for 13 years, because I refused to say the word 'crisps'. -

No one can make their own language sound quite as bad as the English.

What do you guys call them?

@kruse Mrs TR still says ice lollies, crisps, plus other quirks I often ridicule, luckily the kids call majority of things by the real (kiwi) names
My niece is bloody atrocious with watching shit seppo sitcoms... she's calling her mother "Mom"... with appropriate ridicule piled on whenever I hear that shit. Her mother still occasionally gives her shit, but like parents everywhere - is too tired most of the time, so just lets it slide.
And "candy" - I'm pretty sure I've heard both her and her brothers refer to "candy". They'll soon learn that using that word automatically means "no lollies for you". In fact, I should escalate it to mean "Uncle Kruse is now going to buy the lollies, and scoff them himself, in front of you". -
